10-Minute Conversation paper * The 10 minutes conversation with my fiancee about our wedding on July 18. We had need discuss a lot of things like the number of invitations that needed to be mailed and the number of them that we could drop off. And what type of beer and alcohol we would have to get. About if all of her parents would be excorted in or they would just walk in or not. After all the back and forward discussion we put together a beautiful wedding. * * During the conversation, I noticed that my fiancee was using a lot of facial expression and body gestures like folding her arms and shaking her head when she did not agree with my ideas. The tone of the converstaion was very at easy, laid back, and exciting. We both was smiling and laughing, while we were going over the wedding. * The slang words that was used through out the 10 minutes; BAE meaning "before anyone else", SHADE meaning to subtly insulting someone, TURNT another way of saying that you are in full party mood, SLAY a person who is looking or doing something that is amazing, she used the word "fleek" that means something that looks perfect, another was "SHIP" which short for relationship, and she used "OR NAH" a new treandy way of saying yes or no. * Inflection to emphasize accorded when my voice went from a low tone to a high pitch when things started sounding more and more expensive. But other than that the conversation stay basilly calm and exciting, I mean planning a wedding is very uplefting and enjoyable, During this 10

8 Week Treatment Plan

...8 Week Treatment Plan using Expressive Group Therapy working with children who struggle with insecure attachment. What does insecure attachment look like? Attachment can be defined as “an emotional tie with another person, shown in young children by seeking closeness to the caregiver and showing distress on separation” (Myers, 1998). Early bonding experiences have a significant impact on the developing child and achieving a positive bond is essential to the child’s overall well being later in life. The relationship formed between caregiver and child acts as a template for all subsequent relationships. There are four different patterns of response that are considered to be indicative of child attachment to an adult caregiver; secure, insecure-avoidant, insecure-resistant/ambivalent or disorganized /disoriented. Theorist such as John Bowlby, Mary Ainsworth and Erik Erikson proposed that during the 1st year of life a working model is forged based on the caregiver/child relationship and lays the groundwork for future interactions. If the child is unable to form a secure attachment to his or her caregiver it can result in problems such as, relating to people, problems accepting care, problems with transitions, lack of conscience, emotional immaturity, and problems with trust and self-esteem. Children who have been severely maltreated, abandoned, raised in orphanages or placed in multiple foster homes exhibit...

...30 Minute Lesson Plan 1. Sharing Time (2-3 min) - Talk for a couple of minutes before beginning each lesson. Conversation between student and teacher is essential for building a relationship. See our article on Ways to Become a Great Drum Teacher 2. Warm Up (2-3min)- Take a couple of minutes to warm up with a few of the essential rudiments. The teacher should have this on hand. Using a big wall poster or a simple sheet paper of the rudiments will do fine. 3. Book Work (10-15min) - Students should bring their own book back and forth from home and lessons. As the student completes each exercise in the book the teacher will mark it off in pen. This way the student will know where to practice from during the week and the teacher will automatically know where to pick up next lesson. The book we recommend for essential drum beats is Ultimate Realistic Rock by Carmine Appice. This book is easy to read and progress through the difficulties nicely. A secondary book that is nice to use (if the parents will fork out the money) is Drummer’s Guide to Fills by Pete Sweeney. This book complements both Ultimate Realistic Rock and the next book we will mention (Groove Essentials by Tommy Igoe). Drummer’s Guide to Fills is loaded with great fills to compliment the beats of the other books. This means that two books can be used at the same time. Have the students play a beat, add in a fill, hit a crash after the fill, and then begin the beat again while staying on tempo. This is perfect...

Communication/Information Technology Paper

...Communication/Information Technology Paper In many of the organizations today, one may observe a great deal of communication sources that a company may use for communicating. For example, in most health care facilities a physician may use a pager as a source for communication whenever he or she is needed or the administrative staff would rely on emails when communicating throughout the company. In researching voice recognition, this paper will include how this system affects communication in health care, the advantages and disadvantages of using the system, how efficient and effective communication is with this system, and what is the short and long term financial impact of the organization. Voice recognition is an electronic system in which the voice of a human is recognized by a machine such as a computer. In using the speech recognition systems, the system is pre-programmed with stored template words with each input of speaking is compared and the closest word or phoneme is given out. In using the voice system in health care, communication can be less complicated. When considering the use of handwriting in health care reading files or paperwork a doctor signed off on can be a puzzle in figuring out what was written. Handwriting documents gives an immediate access to a record, using the handwriting system documentation is not as comprehensive as a dictated note. Using voice recognition in communication ensures the doctor prompt and accurate documents. Voice recognition in...

...Assessment Analysis Paper Gentina Thompson NUR440: Health Assessment and Promotion for Vulnerable Population September 22, 2014 Assessment tools are a necessary part of everyday nursing care. They provide the nurse with measurable means of keeping inventory of a patient’s physical progression from shift to shift. Assessment tools like the Braden scale which assess the patient’s skin quality; along with the falls risk scale that assess how high the patient’s chances are for falling; are two common assessment tools used worldwide. Along with these physical assessment tools are an array of non-physical assessment tools used to evaluate anything from the patient’s coping skills to evaluating their stress level. Three popular ones are the daily hassle scale, Beck depression inventory, and the perceived stress scale. All three of these scales are imperative in finding out what kind of state the patient is in cognitively. Daily hassles are defined as “irritating, frustrating demands that occur during everyday interactions with the environment (Wright et al., 2010). Daily hassles are normally those daily interactions with family or friends that have regular occurrences; however are more difficult when trying to determine a beginning and an end. The Kanner Hassel scale is the most commonly used it generates eight scores on eight dimensions of time, pressure, work, financial responsibilities, health, neighborhood/environment, inner concerns, household responsibilities, and future security...

Group Proposal Project

...Group proposal project: Support group for alcoholic young adults Ashley Lanier Liberty University Introduction and Rationale Type of group The group is a group for young adults struggling with addictions to alcohol. The location of this group will be near Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. With a major portion of the population being military it is obvious after looking at statistics that individuals who are in the military are at a higher risk to abuse alcohol and the majority of them are young adults. Reason and need for group A report done in January of 2012 found that 43 % of active duty soldiers had a history of binge drinking a month before. Among these soldiers 67 % of them were between 17 and 25 years old (Hlad, 2012). Studies show that soldiers have an increased risk for alcohol abuse because they have been exposed to combat and may have a risk for other mental disorders (Clinton-Sherrod, 2011). This study also found that soldiers are likely to be referred for mental health problems than alcohol; however, the study found it likely that alcohol abuse often resulted from mental disorders (Clinton-Sherrod, 2011). By understanding the risk factors it is understandable why young adults in the camp Lejeune area would need an alcohol support group. Another problem in the military is the risk for people struggling with alcohol problems to be discharged. According to one article, individuals who have an E1-E4 may be allowed to remain in the military after...
