ADELE TO OPEN AT THE 59TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS Music's Ultimate Event —Airs Live, February 12, 2017
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Feb. 9, 2017) — The opening act for the 59th Annual Grammy Awards has finally been announced and will be 10-time Grammy winner Adele Adkins formally known as Adele. For the first time, James Corden, an award-winning television personality and performer is set to host the award show. The event will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 59th Annual Grammy Awards will be broadcasted live on CBS, Sunday, February 12, 2017, at 8 p.m. ET and at 5 p.m. PT.
Adele, herself is nominated for five awards this season, which include: Record of The Year (“Hello”), Best Pop Vocal Album (25), Best Pop Solo Performance (“Hello”), Album of The Year (25), and finally Song of The Year (“Hello”). Adele will also perform alongside big names such 10-time Grammy winner John Legend, in a tribute to those that have sadly passed in the music industry, specifically for George Michael.
