The mission of A Chance program is to eliminate youth homelessness in the Riverside, Ohio and to provide the youth with the education and resources they need to reach their full potential as caring, responsible, citizens. Our vision is to provide a safe home for the youth and to enable them to reach their full potential as citizens. Our initiative is to help the homeless youth in the Riverside community get a second chance and to help them reach their full potential as students and community members. To ensure our initiative is being upheld there are assessments that need to be done routinely. The assessments are done to help ensure success and to help us ensure that remain being successful.

By putting results into tables and graphs, it allows for outcomes to be presented for everyone to see and understand easily. All assessment results will be evaluated to see if we are showing signs of progress, regression, or constant, non-changing (Evaluating the Initiative, n.d.). By evaluating the results it allows for us to make changes to the program to help ensure we are consistently progressing. Each year when we hit another anniversary as a program we will throw a celebration to revel our success as an organization and to reward our hard working staff. The celebration will be open to all community members and will be free for anyone to attend. At the celebration we will announce our success rates, reward staff, and inform everyone on how we will continue to grow and be successful. By throwing the celebration it allows for the program to get the name out more and to show our community that we are making a difference. To continue to be successful each year, we will have to be ready to make changes and continue to …show more content…
Each year there will be aspects of our program that are lacking success and those are the areas we will work on to ensure we continue to be successful as a whole. When looking at the whole organization there are many smaller parts the come into play and that is where changes must be made and improvements need to happen to help the growth of the overall organization. As a whole organization we may be successful, but that does not mean we should ever stop making improvements and changes. Our program is not perfect, but we will strive each year to be better than the last. By making changes and striving for better we are only helping to ensure we continually are reaching to meet our initiative.
When looking at successful companies, you will find a company that uses assessments effectively, has outcome/ results presentations, and rewards their staff for their work. To ensure you staff are working their hardest and giving their all, you must take the time to remind them that you see their work and dedication and appreciate it. A Chance program plans to use assessments, outcomes, celebrations, and changes to make certain as a whole we are continually successful.
