A Comparative Study between Online and Traditional Shopping as Perceived by Students in the College of Business Administration, Silliman University Introduction
Shopping is one of the addictions and one of the activities among people to which they can use their money to purchase their necessities and buy their luxury goods to satisfy their well-being. People make shopping as an entertainment. They enjoy going to shopping centers, look for a product and purchase them. Some people enjoy staying in their houses, search in the web for online shops and wait for their product to be delivered. In addition, there are also some people who want to go to stores and buy what they want because they want to assure that a certain product or good is worth buying for. However, it’s all up to a person of which method he/she will use, the online or traditional shopping.
Shopping is the activity of purchasing available goods in the mall or store. It is an enjoyable activity when one is not working for something. Shopping is also an act of interaction between buyers and sellers. In today’s generation, shopping is common especially to teenagers. They love to buy fashionable bags, jewelries and especially apparel. In fact, shopping is one of the obsession of everybody.

Theoretical Background
Shopping is the process where one can get his/her wants and needs. Thus it is necessary in one’s life. People need something; like food, clothing, accessories, shoes, and something they want. Shopping is an activity in which a customer browses the available goods or services presented by one or more retailers with the intent to purchase a suitable selection of them (Shopping, 2014).
