A Perfect Hair of Curls
If you look up “curled hair” the first video on youtube of a perfect hair filled of curls would show up. Or at most, you will find a few lines of instructions on google which give several important points on hair curling. This is curious, not only because hair curling make women more dressed up and make them feel pretty, but because this prettiness of one specific person could also lead to jealousy of another. Here are mt own eleven rules of how to curl hair.
First of all, one should use a curler or a straightener. Paper bag curlers has virtues, which are used a lot nowadays- is won't kill or harm tour hair- but when you are in a hurry, it's going to take forever just to curl your hair. Anyone who has used that comforting phrase “perfect curls” invariably means curler or straightener.
Secondly, hair should be protected from the heat the straightener or curler has, -that is, used of heat protector spray. Hair without heat protector spray would suffer from the heat, and will eventually dry out and caused split ends. Any type of heat protector spray would work, though curiously TRESemme heat protector is not so bad.
Huynh #2
Thirdly, you should spread the heat protector evenly through your hair. This is better done if you spray each layer of your hair.
Fourthly, you always should use hairspray. For hair spraying, you shouldn't spray too much it will make your hair super stiff and it wouldn't look as nice. You spray your hair each time you finish one layer of your hair. To me, you have to spray approximately 7 inches from your hair so you wouldn't over spray the hairspray. Also you have would need a big slip to slip up your extra hair.
Fifthly, your hair should be divided into sections and be clipped up so that it's easier to curl. Some people actually curled their hair without dividing it which will just make really messy and confusing. But actually some people can curl it naturally because they have thin hair, or just wants to wavy curl it.
Sixthly, one should take off the hair piece and use the straightener to curl it. You put one section of your hair down, divided an half. Put one over your left shoulder and other half over your right.\
Seventhly, after dividing your hair hold one of the top near your roots, twist it around and pull the straightener down while twisting it.
Eighthly, one should curl outward,-that is to keep it out away from your face. If don't you might easily burn yourself.
Ninthly, keep twisting every piece of your hair from section to section and you will get perfect curls.
Huynh #3
Tenthly, one should finish your whole head first. This will be easily to spray your hair with hairspray, if everything if finished. You wouldn't have to keep stopping each time to spray it.
Lastly, curled hair- should be perfectly done. With some hairspray it will hold together for pretty long. One thing, don't run your fingers through them. What's the point of having perfect curls if you're going to ruin it yourself? It would be just very unreasonable.
Some people would answer that they don't like to curl, that it's just a big waste of time doing your hair. To those misguided people, I would say: Try curling your hair, say, for one night and it is unlike that you wouldn't feel more beautiful.

Healthy Hair

...Natural VS. Chemical Based Hair Britney Jones COM/170 June 30, 2014 ELSIE WALKER Natural VS. Chemical Based Hair Having natural hair is healthier than having chemical based hair. Natural hair and chemical based hair can both be straightened and curled. Natural hair straightening is a hair styling technique used since the 1890’s which involves the flattening and straitening of the hair in order to give it a smooth, streamlined, and sleek appearance. Chemical based hair gets straight by using a harsh hair product called a relaxer. Both hair types can be curled as well. Natural hair is already in a curl like form. But if you want to have more curls you can do different type of hairstyles. Some of the hairstyle are called Bantu knots, straw sets, and rag curls. As for chemical based hair you can do braid out styles and setter waves to get that perfect curl pattern in your hair. Natural hair needs a lot of moisture because it can get dry from being mistreated. Natural hair needs water and natural moisturizers to keep its moisture. To keep moisture in your natural hair you can spray water onto your hair at least twice a week to continue having beautiful moisturized natural hair. You can also use natural moisturizers like coconut milk, coconut oil, raw shea butter, olive oil, and homemade flaxseed gel. Also shampooing your hair gives it moisture too. Remember, shampooing too often strips the hair of its natural oils so be sure not to overdo it! Every other week is usually...

Personal Narrative: My Hair

...With the sound of hair dryers and women gossiping and laughing, I felt like a fish out of water. Unlike most eleven-year-old girls, I did not like being at the hair salon. Mainly because I didn’t like having my hair touched by other people, I was relieved when the stylist finished my hair. She had used a curling iron, which only slightly changed the look of my hair because it was already curly. Overall, I was underwhelmed by the way my hair turned out given all of the effort the stylist put in. However, when I saw my sister, who had gotten the same style, my jaw dropped to the ground. Her thin long blonde hair looked so much better than my darker and thicker hair. “Wow, your hair looks amazing!” I said to my sister. “Thanks! I think it will look even better with my dress. Today is going to be so much fun!” My sister exclaimed. We followed the two other junior bridesmaids to the car and excitedly headed to the wedding. As we walked into the church that summer morning, the sun reflected off of my sister’s perfectly curled blonde hair. We finished getting ready in the basement of the church. My sister was right; when she put on that light pink dress, her hair looked...

Wen By Chaz Hair Care System

...In a recent article on Bustle.com a reporter put the Wen by Chaz hair-care system to the ultimate real-world test, her own hair. While this may not sound like that big of a deal, when the reporter in question is a professional stylist at a premium salon it's important that they look great every day to inspire confidence in their customers. They decided to specifically try out the Wen Cleansing Conditioner product for seven days to see if their normally thin hair would really have more shine, volume, and bounce. What they found was amazing. Indeed the product did exactly what it promised. When used in the morning during a shower, and according to directions, the product gave more volume, shine, bounce and body to her thin hair. It should be noted that with her particular hair make up she found that using the product at night before bed provided slightly less results than using in the morning. She also found that her curls tended to fall slightly faster due to the fact that her hair was so clean and had more inherent body....

Personal Identity: A Short Story

...day in Athens, my grandmother decided on going shopping at Target, and took me along with her. “Here you go, “my grandmother said to four-year-old me. In her hand was a little black Barbie with curly hair just like mine. I grabbed it, and then proceeded to drop it to the ground like a hot potato. My grandmother was busy looking at dishes, but when she noticed the doll, she picked it up and handed it back to me. I dropped the doll again. She stops in the towel isle, examines the doll for the problem, and then she looks at me. “Precious, why do you keep dropping your doll?” she finally asked. I turned my head from the towels, “That doll is ugly; I want the normal one with straight hair.” I could not fall in love with the image of that doll, because I could not even love the image of myself. Mother had straight hair, all the girls at school had straight hair, and the girls on TV had straight hair. I tried to fathom the messy locks on my head for so long. Every birthday I would ask them for the same thing “Mommy, can I get a perm,” It would straighten my hair permanently, and I would be perfect....

Poem

...English 1020 Beauty by Tony Hoagland I found this poem to be both sad and uplifting. It tells the story of two sisters, one the butterfly perfectly shaded, finding all the most perfect flowers; the other one, the voyeur, in the background watching and amazed at the flight of the butterfly. The sister tells the story of how beautiful her sister had been until the medication she was taking caused permanent blue stitches that formed across her cheeks. The beautiful sister knowing that her beauty was gone forever, seemed to let it go like it was a burden to her for the longest time. After all those years of watching her sister nurture her beauty, the narrator knew more than anyone else what those tiny blue stitches would cost her sister. The narrator reflects back to high school years when her sister had perfected the art of being a dumb blond, the way she stood in the breezeway tossing her “bedspring” hair. “Laughing with that canary trill voice,” her specialty. There were hints of jealousy from these statements. She had a football player for a boyfriend, most likely the star of the team. He would do anything she wanted as you could tell from the “pained expression in his eyes.” The beautiful sister didn’t date men; she held “auditions,” looking for the one man who had the attention span that would hold her interests. She looked for ten long years, and still was not married. In these times most women were married younger, but these women didn’t...

The Role of Compassion in Four Short Stories

...The story only covers one day out of her life, but the moments of that day are laced with all the days prior, all the people in her life and all the events, real and imagined, that got her to that first day of school. That morning before school, the mother is doing her daughter’s hair. The simple act of doing her child’s hair is steeped with the anticipation and history they share, the continued hope of the mother for the child’s success, and the child’s new level of maturity. They struggle to get the hair perfect and eventually are satisfied with their efforts. As the mother and daughter walk into school, into the auditorium to register, the girl/narrator notices another young student. “The girl’s hair is arrayed in curls, but some of them are beginning to droop and this makes me happy.” The narrator’s mother is illiterate, hard working, and single for all practical purposes. Their lives are not perfect, and yet her hair is. The tender act of a mother helping her daughter prepare for school is a symbol of the teamwork that will make that child a success in school. It is not the failing curls of the other child that has made her happy, it is knowing that her mother took the time to make her hair perfect and that it has lasted the whole long morning as they prepare for registration. Jones shows his readers how complex spoken, and unspoken, exchanges are between characters. Family members often need to act as teammates who work together to reach a goal, but in the short story Alibi...

...Her usual wild mane of loose curls and soft waves had been tamed down into a knot at the base of her skull this morning, and she felt confined, restricted by the tight style. Glancing around she eased her fingers through the thick strands before loosening the hair pin to let her hair fall free with a happy sigh, pale fingers combing through the firey locks that cascaded in a wild mess of waves to the small of her back. She didn't even mind the way the freed curls curved over her ears and tugged slightly at the two industrial piercings she had crisscrossing through the tips of both ber her ears, where studs and and small hoops continued to travel down to end in a pair of small gauges adorning the lobes. Her love of body modification didn't end there but with the strict employee dress code, she was prohibited from wearing her lip ring and the small nose...

An Amazing Trip

...After so many months being alone, in my own misery, without anyone looking at me in that gloomy store, someone saved my life. That lady. A petite, young woman with curly and short hair took me in her soft hands and immediately claimed: “this is perfect!” She walked through the corridor, paid my price and put me in her black leather bag. My heart was beating too fast. This angel has taken me out of the store. After some short minutes, someone picked my metal body up. I realized that it was the same woman. She laid me on a round table. From there, I could see a cosy living room, which had a huge window from where I saw a wonderful garden with lots of flowers. From out of nowhere, I heard a voice. Sweet voice. My eyes saw a little girl, full of energy. Her hair was a mass of curls. Her eyes irradiated happiness. I could hear that she laughed in an infectiously way. Slowly, she came towards me and scanned me carefully. Without warning, she put me in her delicate hands and then in her curly hair. Honestly, I had never felt better before. That was when I met Maggie. 204 From that moment onwards, we shared unforgettable moments. At any special occasion, she wore me. I was always with her. Every night, she used to put me on a pink box and I glimpsed at her when she was sleeping. Time went by, years also but I was still in her life. Although she did not wear me anymore, I was happy to be there. I was capable of understanding that Maggie was a big girl and had other objects to put...
