The study of biological epidemiology has been extended to help us understand when and why computer viruses spread. Techniques have been developed to help us estimate the safety and effectiveness of anti-virus technology before it is deployed. Technology for dealing with known viruses has been very successful, and is being extended to deal with previously unknown viruses automatically. Yet there are still important research problems, the solution to any of which significantly improve our ability to deal with the virus problems of the near future. The goal of this paper is to encourage clever people to work on these problems. To this end, we examine several open research problems in the area of protection from computer viruses. This kind of wishfulness is prevalent throughout Act I of Anton Chekhov's play The Seagull. Through his use of dialogue, relationships between characters, and setting, Chekhov creates a theme of suffering and self-imprisonment within many of his characters as they long for the unattainable. The way Chekhov chooses his speech between characters is an important method in relaying the message of internal suffering. Many of the characters give up trying to convince another of an idea, therefore showing no end or resolvement to their torment. For example, Masha begins to explain to Medvedenko why she feels the ways she does saying "All you ever do is philosophize or talk about money. The way you think, there's nothing worse than being poor, but I think it's a thousand times easier to wear rags and beg in the streets than...." when she abruptly stops her explanation by saying "Oh well, you wouldn't understand" (Chekhov 137). Telling Medvedenko he wouldn't understand is in fact ironic since he actually has the same problem of unrequited love that she does, but her willingness to give up the explanation further shows their internal struggle. Participants: All the students in the selected secondary schools were included in the study. Results: Five thousand, three hundred and eleven(74. 1%) secondary school students were covered. There were 3658 boys and 1653 girls in the study. The mean age was 16.7 years SD ± 1.48. The study covered 3065(77.3%) and 2246 (70. 1%) of the public and private school students respectively. A total of 1709 (32.2%) were ever-smokers. The overall rate of eversmoking by gender among the students was 38.6% of males and 17.9% of the females. Experimentation with smoking started at five years and regular smoking at 10 years but majority of students (72.2%) started at between age 12 and 16 years. Parents’ and teachers’ smoking habits influenced initiation of smoking by young children while peer pressure, advertising and type of school influenced older children to smoking.
