The Account Tab

The account tab offers personal information for each student. By selecting this tab you are given direct access to your account, whether it is educational information, financial information, or personal information. We start as it is listed from left to right. On the left side of the page are four columns: * My Profile * Change Password * Change Address/ Contact Information * My Student Verification Information
Each of these is a sub-category of the original Account. By selecting one of these links you are guided to a new page.
The My Profile link guides the student back to the home tab where they are offered personal information on their individual profile. This link gives the student direct access to a view of the personal profile. By scrolling down you can see all your information in the event you need to update or change anything.
Through this link you can also gain access to your content, friends list, and notifications. These tabs are the basis for the student social network.
The Change Password Link
Under this link you are directed to a screen that offers the student the option to change their password.

Once the new password is inputted the by hitting submit at the bottom of the page the password will be changed. The student is offered the ability to cancel the change at any time before their submission.
The Change Address/ Contact Information link directs you to the same page as the profile. Once you gain access to your profile you are free to make any informational changes you wish to your student profile. Once any information is saved, these changes will be displayed for friends and other to see.

...OPERATION OF MASS BALANCE Typically checks involve verifying that the static weight condition of component balances within a specified range. If the control surface has either too much weight ahead of or behind the hinge line, the control surface may flutter during flight. In extreme cases, flutter causes oscillations that progressively increase in amplitude, which ultimately can cause the pilot to lose control of the aircraft or could cause a catastrophic structural failure. The balance check is done with the control surface remove from the aircraft and assembled as specified in the manufacturer’s instructions. Generally all the mounting hardware and components contained within the control surface should be installed in their relative positions. Once assembled, the control surface is placed on balancing madrels within a draft-free room. The mandrels are positioned under the hinge points in a way that allows the control surface to pivot freely without dragging or binding. A balance beam or jig is then installed to determine the moment arm required to balance the control surface. The beam consists a graduated measuring scale in which weight can be moved to bring the control surface to horizontally level position or other position specified by the manufacturer. Once in the proper position, the distance that the weight is located ahead of or behind the hinge line is recorded and checked against the manufacturer’s specification. If the moment arm exceeds the manufacturer’s specification...

Andragogy

...What is Andragogy? Mercedes McIntosh COLL 100 B136 American Public University Tom Werner Title of Paper Begin your paper here. Double space the entire document and be sure that you put two spaces between each sentence. Indent the first line of each paragraph between five and seven spaces by pressing the Tab key one time on the keyboard. Start with a strong introduction that includes a thesis statement (what the point of the paper is). Then add at least three additional paragraphs of details that support your theme or thesis. These paragraphs should end with a sentence that transition to the next paragraph in order to create a paper that reads well and “flows” from one idea or concept to the next. Do not forget PIE: Proof, Information, and/or Evidence to support your points. PIE can be in the form of examples from your own life and/or citations from your resources. End your paper with a strong conclusion. Think of the conclusion as the closing arguments presented by a lawyer to a jury. Include the most important points from your paper you want your reader to remember. Do not introduce any new ideas or topics in your conclusion. If you feel the need to add more content, go back and add that information to the body of your text. Happy writing! References Knowles, Ph. D., Malcolm S., Burlington. Bank

...Departments In A Bank As soon as it becomes necessary, on account of volume of business, to divide the work in a bank into divisions, each employing a group of clerks, such division is organized into a department having a department head who is usually a teller, a head bookkeeper, or perhaps a junior officer. In the very large banks the executive staff is itself organized into groups, and there may be a vice - president and one or two assistant cashiers in charge of each important department. The work of a department in a large bank is nothing more nor less than the work of a single man in a small bank, apportioned among several men. For example, the receiving teller in a five-man bank will take the deposit, count the cash, examine the checks, assort them as to place payable, enter them upon the proper records and make a settlement or proof at the end of the day. In a large bank each of these operations is performed by a different man or group of clerks under the direction of the receiving teller, who is head of the department. It may be that he himself will do very little if any of the detail work. He becomes the manager. Frequently we find a department within a department, as for example, the money department within the paying teller's department. The ordinary departments, classified as to group, may be described as follows: Paying Teller's Department (Teller): Pays or certifies checks. In charge of the signature book or cards bearing the authorized signatures of all depositors...

Unrecorded Liabilities Accrual Procedures

...Process for Calculating the Accrual for Unrecorded Liabilities for ABC Inc. Background Information The ABC Inc. Segment maintains an accrual for an estimate of unrecorded liabilities in account 2162030 (Accrued Other Accounts Payable) in profit center US09999G. Twice a year (Q1 & Q3), the estimated accrual for unrecorded liabilities is reviewed to determine the adjustment needed. If the calculated adjustment results in less than a $xx million change, the segment accounting team will use judgment to determine whether an adjustment to the GL balance will be made in that quarter. If the calculated adjustment results in greater than a $10 million change, the segment accounting team will use judgment determine the dollar amount of the adjustment to be made. Beginning with Q3 FY14, the review is completed in the first month of the quarter instead of the second month of the quarter as had been previously done. The estimate for unrecorded liabilities is determined utilizing the report RB0250_US “Invoice Accrual Report.” This report displays, for a given period and restrictions, the amount of invoices that are posted to the general ledger in a period subsequent to the date of the invoice (i.e. in SAP, the document date (which represents invoice date) is in a period prior to the posting date.) Prior to Q3 FY13, the estimated accrual was based on a six month history of the “Invoice Accrual Report” and was calculated on the previous two quarters. Beginning in Q3 FY13, the...
