Introduction:
Pollution is a worldwide problem. Acid rain is one of the most major pollutions on plants in Louisiana. Acid rain is a type of acid deposition, which comes from pollution in the air. Acid rain is made of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide compounds; when released into the atmosphere, water and oxygen react with the compounds creating acid rain (United States Environmental Protection Agency, 2016). The purpose of this experiment is to test the effects of vinegar on kidney bean plants. In this experiment, the kidney bean plants are used as a model for all plants because they grow fast and are extremely sensitive to environmental changes. Also in this experiment, vinegar is the pollutant being used to represent acid rain; vinegar and acid rain have the same acidity concentration. When vinegar is added to kidney bean plants, the height of the plants will be shorter than average.
Procedure:
First, get four germinated kidney bean plants from the teacher. Then, label four of the same size Styrofoam cups; name cup one vinegar …show more content…
During week one, the plants being watered with vinegar, the experimental group; and the plants being watered with just water, the controlled groups, both had 2 healthy, dark green leaves present. On the other hand, during week two the plants being watered with vinegar started to have a yellowish, brown tint on the two wilting leaves. Yet the plants being watered with no vinegar then had eight healthy, dark green leaves with a healthy stem. During week three the plants being watered with vinegar died with whitish, brown leaves. Though the experimental group plants died, the controlled group plants remained healthy throughout week three and four of the experiment. The plants watered with just water continued to grow and ended up with about 31 leaves, but during the final week, week four, the healthy stems on No Vinegar 1 and No Vinegar 2 snapped in half due to lack of

Anthropogenic Climate Changes are changes in the atmosphere brought on by human activity, and there is evidence of these kinds of changes all over. By studying the size of the polar ice caps we can see that they are shrinking and this may be due to a warmer atmosphere temperature brought on by none other than an anthropogenic climate change. An IPCC report from 2007 showing levels of some of the greenhouse gases also shows that the levels of greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere has skyrocketed since the post-industrial era, this can only be attributed to man-made machines that have come to rise. So how does human activity attribute to the climate rise?
