Adam Sandler is an all-star.
He is an American actor, producer, screenwriter, comedian and also musician.
But to reach these goals it was a long way. He was born in Brooklyn,New york on September 9,1966 to Jewish parents. When he was a teenager he nurtured his talent by performing regularly in clubs and on campuses. Good to know is that he was at NYU, because later in his career he used a lot experiences for material for his comedy. For example in the song "Lunchlady Land" he sings about the lunch lady from the NYU.
While he was a student at the NYU and performing on stages he was also auditioning for TV roles. In 1984 he finally got his first role on "The Cosby Show" and after that he got the chance to show his talent for creating memorable comedic characters on MTV's game show which was called "Remote Control".
But he is not a person who can stay at one place for a long time and so he moved from New York to Los Angeles where he was discovered by Dennis Miller who had seen him on stage in a little comedy club. He was the one who told the producer of Saturday Night Live about Adam and that he would fit perfectly in the show. Then 1990 when he was 23 he auditioned with a little stand up comedy with his friend Chris Rock in Chicago for the show, his friend was hired a performer and Adam was hired a writer for Saturday night live. Within a year he created many characters like Iraqi Pete, Canteen Boy and Cajun Man but none of those had success like the Opera Man. This character was a bewigged and caped tenor singing in satirical, mostly they made no sense or were just dorky.PICTURE
After this success he was promoted to a repertory player in 1991. But he had not just success with with his dorky characters but also with his parody songs like the "Lunchlady Land" which i mentioned at the beginning. He wrote many songs which appeared on his double platinum-selling comedy album in 1993 which is called "They're All Gonna Laugh at You", but this was not his only album. He wrote 4 more comedy albums which appeared 1996 "What the Hell Happened to Me?", 1997 "What's your name?",1999 "Stan and Judy's Kid" and 2004 "Shhh…Don't Tell". But his most famous funny but silly song was "The Chanukah Song"from the album "What the Happened to Me?" which was his 2nd double platinum selling album. He performed the song as part of his stand-up act, later he updated it with new lyrics so there are 3 Parts. In the center of the song are the Jewish children who are feeling estranged during the christmas season and Adam is listing Jewish celebrities in form of showing sympathy with the kids. There are many celebrities who covered this song like Jimmy Fallon when he played in a sketch with Will Ferell Adam Sandler. And in this sketch they sang the chanukah song with other lyrics, but the same structure.
With the start of season 1993 he was promoted to full-fledged cast member, but this was his last but one season on SNL. He was fired in 1995, because he was pushing to too far toward black humor. Due to that he was replaced by Will Ferrell who made jokes about political themes, so he was quite the opposite of Adam.
With the movie "Mixed Nuts" his film career squeezed out his TV career and so the era of the "Adam Sandler movie" was born. He began writing, creating and starring storylines which are mostly about dorky protagonists and which are often absurd. His first such offering was Billy Madison in 1995, which was critically panned but a huge commercial and financial success among the male teen audience just like his following movies. This movie is about Billy Madison an adult who must go back to school in order to take over his father's company.
The title role was played by Adam himself but the comedy also features Chris Farley and Steve Buscemi which were both stars on Saturday Night Live. This is very typical for his productions because he said that he has so much faith in them that he wants that his friends of SNL play a role in his movies. Many movies with the same structure followed like the golfing comedy "Happy Gilmore", "Bulletproof" or "The Wedding Singer". Thanks to a romantic storyline with Drew Barrymore, Adam gained a lot of female fans. His success firmly established with movie "The Waterboy" 1998 which was extremely profitable. This movie earned over $160 million in the Untied States. And due to that he founded Happy Madison productions in 1999 and began planning to put to work fellow "SNL" friends in big screen comedies. Happy Madison takes its name from his movies "Happy Gilmore" and "Billy Madison" which opened him the door to his film career. Here you can see the logo with Adam's late Father Stanley Sandler. The company's production office is located in a building on the Sony Pictures Studios lot in Culver CIty in California while its corporate company offices are located in Manchester which his brother runs. His first production under the Happy Madison banner was Rob Schneider's movie 1999 called "Deuce Bigalow:Male Gigolo". Does anyone of you know any kind of movies from Happy Madison production? He produced and starred in movies like Mr. Deeds, 50 first Dates, Click, Jack and Jill, just go with it, I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, you don't mess with the Zohan, Bedtime Stories and Grown up with his friend Chris Rock who auditioned with him for SNL. For his movies he got a lot of awards, but they weren't just positive like the People's choice awards or his own star on walk of Fame. There were also many negative references for example for the movie Jack and Jill. He got 5 Golden Raspberry Awards for example for the worst actor. But back to his company Happy Madison Production also got a subsidiary which is called Madison 23 Productions. This company is aimed towards the drama genre and known for his first production Reign Over Me, starring Adam Sandler. This movie is about a man who lost his family in the september 11th terrorist attacks. This movie underlines what a great actor Adam Sandler is, because now everyone could see that he is not just a comedy actor like in the movie You Don't Mess With the Zohan 2008, where he plays an Israeli commando who fakes his own death to move to America to pursue his dream of becoming a hair dresser, but also a very emotional and serious actor which the movie Reign Over Me points out.
And that's how Adam Sandler is in his private life. He is very funny, but he is also very emotional like his wife Jacqeline Titone said. The couple have two daughters Sadie Madison Sandler and Sunny Madeline Sandler. Sadie is 6 years old and Sunny is 4 years old. You can see them both here in the picture. He also stands up for the Boys and Girls Club in his hometown, Manchester.
In fact you can say that he is not just blessed with his career, but also with his private live.

...Environment and Preservation Many grounds all over the world have been destroyed many ways starting from cleaning up the forest where animals live and survive in the forest. The forest is beauties of nature where the oxygen flows through the big trees and makes an atmosphere breathe the fresh air of that oxygen. Trees are being taken from the root of the ground, so it can no longer grow and replace that area with a business company or just plain empty. See also: Adam and Eve Adam Hands of God and Adam.jpg Detail from Michelangelo's The Creation of Adam, Sistine Chapel ceiling Spouse(s) Eve Lilith (folklore) Children Cain Abel Seth Creation of Adam, Michelangelo Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם‎) is a figure from the Book of Genesis, also mentioned in the New Testament, the Quran, the Book of Mormon, and the Book of Iqan. According to Womack's creation myth[1] of Abrahamic religions, and also according to the Holy Bible, he is the first human. In the Genesis creation narratives, he was created by Yahweh-Elohim ("Yahweh-God", the god of Israel), though the term "adam" can refer to both the first individual person, as well as to the general creation of humankind. Christian churches differ on how they view Adam's subsequent behavior of disobeying God (often called the Fall of man), and to the consequences that those actions had on the rest of humanity. Christian and Jewish teachings sometimes hold Adam and Eve (the first woman) to a different level of responsibility for the Fall, though Islamic teaching holds both equally responsible. In addition, Islam holds that Adam was eventually forgiven, while Christianity holds that redemption occurred only later through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Marvously Made Report

...EVAN 101-002 29 October 2013 Book Review Reflection Paper Marvelously Made written by Monica Rose Brennan was such a simplest wonderful book about the basic principles in a little more depth of the bible and God’s word and truths. The overall main focus was of what God viewed women to be in society and how he specifically made us women to all be marvelously made in his image. I highly enjoyed reading Dr. Breenan’s book and learning more in depth of God’s word and truths. The first story talked about in the book was of when Brennan was a child. She talked about how us girls like to make little pretend worlds. Where we wont have any pain, rejections, suffering, hate, that others, and other things along those lines will always love us. She said how little girls do that but sometimes we even catch ourselves today living in a world we created to stay happy and away from the negative in life. Body image was also talked about in the book. Brennan struggled with anorexia when she was just in the seventh grade. Without knowing the true truths of how God created each of us to be ,we can all get caught up with our body image. If we do not truly believe that we are each created from God then we can get so idolized of how we look making ourselves unhappy. The book talked about how coming to God and finding your true identity in Christ will fill that need of wanting how your body should be and accepting how God made you and that you are beautiful in his eyes. That is where the...

Nothing Gold Can Stay

...becomes new again. Another example from the poem that shows gold as a symbol is “Nothing gold can stay.” The speaker means that the newness and youth of nature does not stay forever. This is quite disappointing and bittersweet because the speaker is implying that everything of value in life somehow fades away eventually. After spring and summer are over, fall and winter return once more. Winter, which is the opposite of spring and summer, represents death and gloominess. Finally, Eden is a symbol that Frost uses to develop and establish the passage further. In the sixth and seventh line of the poem, the speaker says “So Eden sank to grief/ so dawn goes down to day”. Eden symbolizes the Garden of Eden where everything is perfect and pleasant for Adam and Eve until they eat an apple off of the only tree they weren’t supposed to. This also shows that nothing pleasant and/or perfect in life will stay forever, just like the “gold” in life. Robert Frost uses symbols in this poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay” to represent how many precious things in life don’t stay in one’s life...

This shows what Adam and Eve did when they listened to the snake in the garden of eden. DISTINCTIVE ELEMENTS Basically, the picture shows two frames and each frame contain apples that have bites. What makes them distinct is one frame is crowded with apples that there is no room left and the other frame is only filled with a few apples which still has a lot of room. Analysis of Principles The artwork is repetitious and chaotic. USE OF LIGHT The artwork has a warm tone due to the redness of the apple. Likewise shadowy, because the artwork looks dark and mysterious. SPACE AND LANDSCAPE For the right frame, the canvas was filled with apples leaving no negative space. On the other frame, it only shows a few apples which means there’s a lot of room and negative space. The Connection Between Michelangelo's Adam And Eve

...For the central section of the ceiling, Michelangelo has taken four episodes from the story of Adam and Eve as told in the first, second and third chapters of Genesis. In this sequence of three, two of the panels are large and one small. In the first of the pictures, and one of the most widely recognised images in the history of painting, Michelangelo shows God reaching out to touch Adam, who, in the words of Vasari, is a figure whose beauty, pose and contours are such that it seems to have been fashioned that very moment by the first and supreme creator rather than by the drawing and brush of a mortal man. From beneath the sheltering arm of God, Eve looks out, a little apprehensively. The "glory" of God, represented by a dark shaded area around...

Trible Relationship Between Adam And Eve

...Furthermore, Trible’s reading of Adam suggests that he’s passive, nonchalant, and goes with whatever Eve asks of him or tells him and once the fall comes and they’ve both made a mistake and Eve chooses to take a bite from the apple; a sin, and tells Adam to also take a bite Adam after is seen as vindictive and opportunistic when he names, gives himself power over Eve. Trible states before the fall that Eve and Adam were equals. Eve isn’t from Adam but they are one in the same, made from the same cloth, created in the image of God. Adam was the beginning of creation and Eve was the end. Trible sees the story of creation as circular because it ends Eve and begins with Adam who are both creations of God from “raw material”. In an overall look at this poem it has strong words that helps me paint a picture; another example of that would be “Not beautiful, but suddenly limned with light; their elliptical wet flesh in a flash reflects it” this sentence uses words like, “limned” (depiction) of the light helps to see the “elliptical” (round) wet “flesh”, assuming its mentioning the obese kids earlier having fun in the summer weather. And finally the last sentence in the poem relating to summer: “and it greens the green grass, greens the hanging leaf; greens Adam and Eden, greens little Eve.” Mentioning green grass and the Adam and Eden reference creates and depicts a beautiful vivid picture about the feel. ...Long before beauty pageants, Barbie dolls, and extra-ordinarily beautiful girls, came about the idea of the female body. Whether you are a believer of creationalism, scientology, or evolutionism, somehow we all came about with the perception of the “perfect” female. Women have always been seen, and portrayed as a sex symbol, and usually the disobedient one. Dating back to B.C and the story of Adam and Eve, Eve was the naked one who bit into the fruit that god told her was forbidden. Why couldn’t it have been Adam that caused such scandal, and was the cause for destruction, and crime in the world, and not Eve? From the believed beginning of time, to present day, women have really only progressed a small amount up the social ladder. Today, women are looked down upon, if they are slightly more over weight then what is considered “normal,” if they are “underweight”, “darker skin color”, too “pale”, “flat chested”, big boned, “thick,” or because of their ethnicities and backgrounds. So what exactly defines the “perfect female?” Is it the girls featured on “Girls Gone Wild” in Cancun, or the half naked models posing for Victoria’s Secret? Or is it the perfectly put together “Miss America” pageant queens? Or is it the Hollywood actresses with billion dollar dresses, and priceless jewelry? Or the well toned, well defined professional team cheerleaders, and dancers we watch? WE, speaking for us “average” women, who often tend to idolize, and carry pieces of all these girls...

Analysis of the Loss of Innocence in "The Monkey Garden" from Sandra Cisneros' the House on Mango Street

...Name Removed English September 11, 2014 The Loss of Innocence in “Monkey Garden” In the chapter, “Monkey Garden,” from The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, the garden symbolizes the archetypal Garden of Eden from Genesis. Similar to Adam and Eve eating from the forbidden tree, Esperanza loses her innocence in this mystical backyard. As an under-privileged child on Mango Street, Esperanza witnessed adult problems that most children her age would never dream of, especially the maltreatment of women. In this fantastical children’s garden, the kids escaped their real-life problems in search of the lost treasures the garden holds. The rich imagery Esperanza weaves into her description shows the evasion of her problems: “There were sunflowers big as flowers on Mars and thick cockscombs bleeding the deep red fringe of theatre curtains.” The images of Mars and the theatre imply entering a fictional or distant world without everyday challenges. In addition, the kids on Mango fabricate rumors that align the Monkey Garden with the Garden of Eden, “Somebody started the lie that the monkey garden had been there before anything.” Through her escape into fantasy, Esperanza kept her innocence. Through it, she stayed a child until the next day. Despite the seemingly irrevocable purity of the Monkey Garden, Sally’s kissing game with the boys not only defiles the image of the Monkey Garden but also substantiates the gender inequalities...
