It is the third game in the franchise and was released on October 11, 2005. Since I enjoyed the first two SOCOM games so much, I also decided to try SOCOM 3. It ended up being one of my favorite games on PlayStation 2 for multiple reasons. Both the single and multiplayer modes were upgraded and besides the lackluster graphics, the gameplay was solid for its generation. SOCOM 3 also made me a fan of military shooter games and the first person shooters today. Apparently, many other people felt the same way due to the fact that Sony named it one of its “Greatest Hits” by 2006 (Colayco, 2005). Sony Computer Entertainment and Zipper Interactive are the two primary companies responsible for the production of SOCOM 3. The game was developed by Zipper Interactive and produced by Sony Computer Entertainment, who is the parent company of Zipper. Chris Kyle, named the Legend is said to be the most lethal sniper in the United States military history. Chris Kyle has over one hundred and sixty confirmed kills throughout his service to the USA. Kyle enlisted in the Navy after the devastation of 9/11 swept the country, and continued on to complete four tours of Iraq before finally coming home. The editing of American Sniper was dead on. There were gorgeous shots and amazing sound effects, which when put together created the perfect picture. The close up shots of Chris preparing to take a shot, while being able to hear his deep and calm breathing generated the most personal feeling a movie can cultivate. Chris Kyle is known for having the longest recorded kill in US history, and this movie provided a marvelous show of that. The eyeline matching that Eastwood used was just as if you were there next to Kyle. An example of this is when Eastwood used the aerial shot from over a mile away to show the magnitude of Chris Kyle’s feat. The Navy Seals are trained for battle but this situation proves why Kyle was name the Legend. This movie clearly falls into the action genre but doesn’t necessarily keep all of the aspects the same. From there, Somalia went on downhill; its population decreased over two thirds from 1991 to 2011 and by 2008, the United Nations estimated that nearly 3.2 million Somalis were dependent on food aid for survival. These pirates had nothing to live fro before attacking the ships. They started hijacking the ships in look of money and valued good, however, by the first assaults they realized that the cargo in the ships was of no use for them and there wasn’t sufficient money for pirates to benefit from it.
