"Are you ready for this?" was spoken by a fellow Agent towards his assigned travel partner, who sat behind Kwan, but heard no reply.

Agent Bryan Jaffe leaned inwards to this Texas Mexican American beauty known formally as Marine Sergeant Cara Holloway, and continued his questioning, "Nervous?"

"Hardly. Now, just stay focused and we'll succeed," replied Cara with a soft, but assertive tone.

Agent Jaffe spoke with a confident smile, "I am sure we will," then he continued in a murmured tone, "Now, let's give them a performance."

Agent Jaffe's voice escalated as he spoke, "Don't be so nervous, Cara. They will love you soon enough."

This classified State Department deployment had every second allocated, giving no room for no deviation nor distraction. Notwithstanding, Agent Jaffe's behavior seemed to aggravate Cara by the minute.

"You're taking his way to serious, Holloway," Jaffe mocked as he readied himself for landing.

Furthermore, Cara feared the disappointment of her Captain. Besides, Cara knew Sinclair would simply ask her to address any questionable tendencies that would interfere with their agenda. All Holloway had was a wet-behind-the-ear CIA newbie playing googly eye towards her. That sure would bring a ruckus of laughter, and a call for a round of drinks on Holloway at the Officer's Club.

The airplane's sudden tremble wiggled her back to the moment. Sergeant Holloway faced her all-American admirer, who was a year younger at twenty-three years of age. Agent Jaffe's quarterback portrayal was enhanced with his perfection: physique, blonde hair, baby faced and that smile continuous smirk.
