Approximately forty four percent of households have a dog in the United States, which equates to more than 55 million households (“Pet Statistics”). PETrimeter spoke with over 100 of these dog owners and found that their biggest concern is stress related to the dog’s whereabouts and the potential danger of losing their beloved pet. Hearing these stories and understanding their struggles drove our team to reduce the risk and frequency of dogs escaping from these homes, as well as increase the owner’s awareness of their pet’s location.
