I have met several interesting pilots in my lifetime and all of them seem to have amazing stories from when they were flying in Alaska. Becoming an Alaskan Bush Pilot will be no easy task. Most jobs require two to three times the experience as pilot jobs in the continental 48 states. In Alaska 1,000 to 1,500 hours are the typical minimum for a new hire. Twice in the article it told of the clothing Mrs. Obama was sporting, and spoke of the outfit that Chinese First Lady, Peng Liyuan wore. Yahoo.com downplayed the visit by stating that Michelle Obama would use “soft diplomacy” to focus on building “goodwill” between China and the United States. The articles continue through explanation of the places that The First Lady, her children, and Mother will visit, but does not go into any detail on the good will that Michelle Obama expressed. The article reported by The Washington Post contained an informational description of the visit, which did not include a description of what the two women wore. This article focused more on the purpose of the visit, which was to concentrate on educating young people, obesity, youth empowerment, all of these issues remain a consistent theme for Mrs. Obama. PVS can be defined as "a clinical condition of unawareness of self and environment, in which the patient, has a stable circulation, and shows cycles of eye closure and opening [that] may simulate sleep and waking". She was able to breathe on her own. However; she was given a percutaneous endoscopy gastronomy (PEG) to provide nutrition and hydration. Her husband becomes her guardian, which her parents, Mr,&Ms.Schindler, did not object. Terri was moved several times around from rehab to rehab and even different states for continuous testing. The parents wanted to keep her on the feeding tube because they believed it to be their daughter’s wishes. The Florida courts were sympathetic to both parties but sided with Mr. Schiavo lawfully. Florida legislators felt the decision was unconstitutional and created what they called “Terri’s law” to prevent Mr. Schiavo from removing her tubes. The law was later overturn by the Florida Supreme Court. Then, the president at the time, George W. Bush, got involved and made the issue a federal case, which in turn favored with Mr. Schiavo in the removal of the feeding tubes. Ms. Schiavo died soon after. This is an unfortunately sad case that involved multiple stakeholders. Both the husband and parents loved Ms. Schiavo. I can understand all parties in this case but I overtly sympathize with the parents and husband because it is difficult to let someone go that you love but it is also difficult to see them suffering.
