Title: Any Old Bag Will Do
Specific Purpose:

Introduction Today I am going to be sharing with you three items that represent my past, present and future. My past, present and future differ because over the years my interests and life has changed, but not in every single way.

1. This is Pinky. (Holding Pinky and a Bible.) A. Pinky represents my past. 1. Pinky has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom gave her to me when I was a small child. She gave me comfort when I was small. I slept with her every night for several years and she helped me to not be afraid of the dark.

2. This is a very complicated puzzle with many pieces that look like they would fit together, but in reality all the pieces of the puzzle only fit with a few other pieces.

A. This puzzle represents my present. (Show puzzle while still holding Bible.) 1. My life is complicated. I have many different passions and I am trying to figure out what passion fits best with me and my life in order for me to be able to love what I do with my future.

3. This is a picture of me playing guitar and singing. A. This picture of myself represents my future. (Show picture while still holding the Bible.) Though I cannot predict the future, I hope to be a professional musician one day.) 1. I have dreamed of being a professional musician ever since I was young. I have worked hard at improving my skills and I do not plan to stop until I succeed.

Conclusion
All in all my life has been full of comfort, joy, indecisiveness, and faith. As you may have been wondering, I actually have one more thing that has had and will always have an impact on my life. I have showed a Bible in my past, present and future. Christ has been with me through every stepping stone in my

A Death in the Woods

...A Death in the Woods - Sherwood Anderson She was an old woman and lived on a farm near the town in which I lived. All country and small-town people have seen such old women, but no one knows much about them. Such an old woman comes into town driving an old worn-out horse or she comes afoot carrying a basket. She may own a few hens and have eggs to sell. She brings them in a basket and takes them to a grocer. There she trades them in. She gets some salt pork and some beans. Then she gets a pound or two of sugar and some flour. Afterwards she goes to the butcher's and asks for some dog-meat. She may spend ten or fifteen cents, but when she does she asks for something. Formerly the butchers gave liver to any one who wanted to carry it away. In our family we were always having it. Once one of my brothers got a whole cow's liver at the slaughter-house near the fairgrounds in our town. We had it until we were sick of it. It never cost a cent. I have hated the thought of it ever since. The old farm woman got some liver and a soup-bone. She never visited with any one, and as soon as she got what she wanted she lit out for home. It made quite a load for such an old body. No one gave her a lift. People drive right down a road and never notice an old woman like that. There was such an old woman who used to come into town past our house one Summer and Fall when I was a young boy and was sick with what was called inflammatory rheumatism. She went home later carrying a heavy pack on her...

Recycling

... It can be anything from recycling old paper into new paper, to making an old hubcap into a decorative birdbath. In reality, recycling can get pretty complex -- how it interacts with our environment, our politics, our economy and even our own human behaviour patterns will play a major role in the future of our planet. What is Recycling? Recycling can take many forms. On a small scale, any time you find a new use for something old, you're recycling. One example is making old cereal boxes into magazine holders Recycling becomes more important on larger scales. At this level, used consumer goods are collected, converted back into raw materials and remade into new consumer products. Aluminum cans, office paper, steel from old buildings and plastic containers are all examples of materials commonly recycled in large quantities, often through municipal programs encouraging bulk household collections. It's rare for a recycled product to be exactly the same as the original material from which it was recycled. Recycled paper, for example, contains ink residue and has shorter fibers than virgin paper (paper made from wood pulp). Because of this, it may be less desirable for some purposes, such as paper used in a copy machine. When a recycled good is cheaper or weaker than the original product, it's known as down-cycling (or downstream recycling). Eventually, goods move so far down the recycling stream it isn't feasible to recycle them any further. After being recycled a few...

...I.Executive Summary Easy Trash is basically a waste basket, but with the technology it has at the bottom, and the eco-friendly row material it is made of makes it an innovative and a totally new essential house equipment. This report is prepared to develop an appropriate marketing plan for Easy Trash and to provide a comprehensive marketing analysis. What makes it this much innovative is the extra part at the downside of it with a roll of waste bag inside it. The basket has a hole below and the bags are coming up from that hole. Think the system as wet wipes. You pull one, and the other one pops out without an effort. The other part that differentiates Easy Trash from the other waste baskets is the socially responsible side of it which comes from the row material it is made of: light steel and zinc galvanization. Easy Trash eases life and provides a better environment at the same time. Easy Trash is produced according the trends, demography, economy and nature. According to the secondary research we have done for macro environmental factors, and micro environmental factors such as customer and competitor analysis, Easy Trash fills in a blank and comes up to the market by differentiating itself from all other products that serve in the way Easy Trash does. Other than the secondary research, the primary research we did by survey questions, helped us more in determining the special features of Easy Trash, and preparing an appropriate marketing mix containing decisions about product...

Business Law Issue Analysis

...that offeree rejects the original offer and accepts a new offer before making final contract. Initially, her aunt and uncle planned to sell the business at $ 300,000. But Leslie did not accept it and insisted on buying at the fair value price $400,000. This means that she rejected the original offer, and made a counter-offer to them. Yet, as her financial ability is not strong enough to buy the business at once, her aunt and uncle suggested that they would like to receive $150,000 for now and collect the rest of money later. Thus, this is another new counter-offer to Leslie. Additionally, all the offers are made verbally without any written agreements, but it is still enforceable if it meets the other three requirements that we will discuss in the following parts. 2. Acceptance: other party (“offeree”) must accept that offer, on those terms, without any changes. At last, Leslie accepted the counter-offer that pay $150,000 for now, and with either half of profits going to them or else “whatever Leslie could afford.” However, it should be noticed here “whatever Leslie could afford” is not very clear, which might cause the future concerns. 3. Consideration: the (accepted) offer must require each party to give something “in return for” what the other party must give. As mentioned in the case, Leslie would pay for total $400,000 in return for her aunt...

I felt like I was a new breed of automotive palaeontologist as I uncovered the debris that defined the last 10 years of my life. It turned out the debris was as dull as my last 10 years. I parked at the back of the Meals on Wheels building, and my old Holden fitted in nicely with the eclectic collection of automotive misfits that comprised the Meals on Wheels fleet. Then I went into the reception area to sign on for my shift. I gave a cheery “Hi Angela, I hope you are feeling better” to the mound of knitting seated behind the...

...Research Essay: Marketing Strategy for BEATBAG in Mumbai. About the author: I am Maulik Shah, 16 years old and currently in grade 11, doing the IB Diploma Programme, in Aditya Birla World Academy, Mumbai. I am very interested in Marketing and Business Management, also I am a music lover, and play 3 instruments too. Which is how I got the idea of BEATBAG. Since, having a bag (haversack) is a basic necessity for teens, as they need it for millions of purposes and with a bit of innovation, the idea of putting music features in the bag came into my mind, and soon I began developing a whole new bag with the features and marketing techniques outlined in thius research essay. Introduction: Beat Bag uses state of the art technology to make one’s life easier and more luxurious than ever. This is a kind of a bag that has two external speakers attached on the shoulder straps of the haversack. One can simply switch them on or off, increase the volume or even change the channel by using the control buttons attached on one of the shoulder strap of the bag. It allows the user to play loud music in the open or even attach earphones to an external earphone jack. All this is made just to make it more convenient for the teenagers, to listen to music wherever and whenever they want to, as they do not have to carry any extra speakers, mp3 players or iPods or evne any external power source is needed as it had an internal rechargeable battery with it. This haversack has been in the market since the...
