Narrator 1: Back in those days when legends were live and fairy folk wandered round free. There lives a king named Stefan and his beautiful queen, Elsa, and a frog in the pond called Jordan. I mean, the frog was called Jordan. Not the pond, it would be silly. The pond was called Samantha. Anyway, King Stefan and Queen Elsa were in their fairy tale home up on a hill. Their days were peaceful and quiet, all sweetness and light, all gentle and tranquil. Their days were a long horribly dull holidays.
SCENE 1 - THE PALACE
King Stefan: I’m bored, bored and bored. (Dozes off, reawakens) [SE: SNORING SOUND] I'm bored!
Queen Elsa: I know dear, you just said that.
King Stefan: I know but I’ll be bored to death soon.
Queen Elsa: For God’s sake, don't start that again. There are lots of interesting stuff to do such as taking an PHD degree in University Tunku Abdul Rahman, participate in Chelsea Football Club or you can also command your warriors to have a battle.
King Stefan: [SE: GROANING SOUND] No, I want something more than exciting to do with! Maybe umhm…base jumping from the top of Mount Everest, having an extreme Kayaking at Victoria Falls, or perhaps doing some yoga on Norway’s Trolltunga.
Queen Elsa: I’ve got it more exciting than all of those things put together! A baby!!
King Stefan: A what?
Queen Elsa: You know, a pink little squirmy thing with arms and legs who screams a lot.
King Stefan: Hmmm, that certainly sounds exciting enough, where can we get one? {Pause}
Queen Elsa: I know! I'll go and ask Jordan.
King Stefan: Pardon?
Queen Elsa: You know, Jordan, the frog, I'll go and see him now.

SCENE 2 - THE POND
Queen Elsa: Oh Jordan! Where are you? [SE: FROG CROAKING]
Oh, there you are. Now, Jordan, how can I get ...
Narrator 1: A scientist enters in white coat.
Scientist: Excuse me, your highness. I believe that everyone here knows that frogs cannot talk. Besides, the development of glottis and position of tongue don’t allow them to articulate sound. However, every species of animal communicates using their own language. Obviously, frogs do croaking…
Narrator 1: The scientist is removed by two guards.
Scientist: Hey! Hey you! I demand you two to put me down instantly. I’m a scientist! Not a goods to be carried. I can walk by myself!
Narrator 1: The scientist was ignored by the two guards. Anyway, the time flies by. Queen Elsa soon has a baby. Oh joy! The royal physicians all crowd around to look at the cute little princess.
Physician: What a puppet, a treasure, a beautiful girl. She'll be everyone's favourite child. But she hasn't had a name which will become a trouble when it comes to Christening. [Infant baptism ceremony] Well, they can't call her Samantha, which will get her mixed up with the pond!
SCENE 3 - THE PALACE
[SE: Baby’s crying]
Narrator 1: King Stefan staggers in with a huge load of nappies and all the baby’s stuffs in both hands.
King Stefan: Ugh! Maybe a base jumping would have been easier.
Queen Elsa: (Following him behind with the baby) Nonsense! Now sit down and talk to me.
Narrator 1: King Stefan makes great play of unloading everything onto his throne and looking for somewhere to sit.

Lim Siao Hui: Queen Elsa and May
Tan Wei Hooi: Narrator 1 and Priest

Chong Yi Ting: Aurora and 2nd Fairy

Queen Elsa: Now, we’re going to have to make up our minds, what to call this baby, we can't call her "Pink little squirmy thing with arms and legs who screams a lot" for the rest of her life, just imagine what would happen when she went to school.
Narrator 1: King Stefan and Queen Elsa were imagining
Teacher in school: April.
April: Here Miss.
Teacher: May. May: Here Miss.
Teacher: June.
June: Here Miss.
Pink little squirmy thing...
King Stefan: Yes, yes, I get the point, but how are we going to choose? There are so many names.
Queen Elsa: Let’s just call her Aurora, from the movie ‘Maleficent’ that we’d just watched yesterday.
King Stefan: Sounds great! Well, that's that then. Now we should plan for the christening. Who shall we invite?
Queen Elsa: We must make a list. Prime minister, take note please. There're Mr. and Mrs. Shuba, Ms. Potato, Mr. Bubble Blossom, Mr. Alexander The Great, Mr. Armstrong and also Jordan, the frog. What do you think, my dear?
King Stefan: (excited) I’ll go with your proposal. Also, we should invite Ms. Barbie, Batman and Robin, the entire team of Chelsea Football Club as well as Mr. Dato Lee Chong Wei.
[SE: Coughing]
Prime Minister: Sorry to interrupt, I would like to remind sire about the fairies.

Yong Lie Jen: Prime Minister and Beast

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Queen Elsa: What's the matter with them?
King Stefan: Have you seen them recently?
Queen Elsa: Well not since…No, look, we have to have them along as it's a tradition. They'll bring magical gifts to the child. In addition, if we don't invite them, what will happen to the story? Everyone will be at home and in bed by eight o'clock!
Prime Minister: But your majesties, there's the problem of the plate. You see they only eat off old plates! According to the Fairy’s Law of Gold Plate and Silver Plate, fairies must consume food on gold plates only. However, we only got three of the gold plates, but there are four fairies.
King Stefan: Couldn't they just share?
Scientist: Well, assuming the numerator to be three and the divisor is four, we reach a solution of 1.33333 ….
Narrator 1: Once again, he was drag off by the guards.
King Stefan: In that case, let's just invite three. OK. End of matter.
Queen Elsa: Ok. But, which three?
SCENE 4 - THE GOOD FAIRIES' COTTAGE
Narrator 1: Enter the fairies in dressing gowns clutching their invitations.
1stFairy: Oh goody, an invitation to the Royal Christening.
2nd Fairy: And there's going to be a ball afterwards.
3rd Fairy: Oh hooray! I haven't been to a ball for almost two years. The last time was when I took that girl named Cinderella, you wouldn't believe the troubles I had getting her there, I had to…
1st Fairy & 2nd Fairy: We know, we know.
2nd Fairy: We're still paying the insurance bill on that carriage.

[SE: Horn]
1st Fairy: Oh! I heard a hooting outside. Let’s go!
SCENE 5 – OUTSIDE THE PALACE
1st Fairy: That's the last time I use that taxi, he didn't even bring us up to the front door!
2nd Fairy: Perhaps it was because you had told him we didn't have any money to pay him.
1st Fairy: Pay him? He was lucky that I didn't turn his taxi into a Toyota.
3rd Fairy: It was a Toyota, that's why it took us three hours to get here. Now, hurry up or we'll miss them cutting the cake.
2nd. Fairy: Alright, I'll press the bell.[SE: bell ringing]
Narrator 1: The Prime Minister opened the door.
Prime Minister: Ah! Our fairy guests, may I say ladies how enchantingly beautiful and gorgeous you look tonight!
3rd. Fairy: Us?
1st. Fairy: It's alright, my lipstick looked a bit smeared so I cast an "Aren't we beautiful" spell over him.
SCENE 6 – THE PALACE BALLROOM
King Stefan: Um, I must say that that liver and octopus pie with custard was um...
Queen Elsa: Unusual? Prime Minister! Sack the Chef.
Prime Minister: With pleasure your Majesty.
King Stefan: Well I suppose we have some entertainment next. What’s on next?

King Stefan: Well that's enough, what's up next?
Prime Minister: The fairy gifts your Majesty. [SE: Giggling]
King Stefan: Right! Bring on the fairies.
Prime Minister: It is, your majesties. My very great pleasure to introduce the three of the most gorgeously radiantly beautiful creatures ever to have graced my poor unworthy eyeballs, delightful lovely ladies...
3rd Fairy: I rather think you've overdone the" Aren't we beautiful" spell.
1st Fairy: Oh no I haven't.
2nd Fairy: Never mind, come on you two. Your Majesties, we will use our magical powers to give the princess some very special gifts, well, I've got our catalogue here somewhere.
Scientist: Now just pause it there, this is absolutely ridiculous. There is not a single shred of scientific evidence for the existence of any kind of magical powers. I don’t think you could .. er.. turn me into a talking dog called Jordan .
Narrator 1: The fairies look at him then together cast a spell.
Fairies: Abracadabra…[SE: KOREAN POP SONG+ BOOM]
Scientist: Rolf Rolf Rolf , my name is Jordan, Rolf Rolf . (dog barking)
2nd Fairy: Isn't that going to upset the real Jordan?
1st Fairy: I don't suppose so, it will wear off after a few minutes. Now let’s continue with the ceremony. Sweet Aurora, I wish for you the gift of beauty. [SE: blink blink]
2nd Fairy: My wish for you that you will become more talented than Leonardo Da Vincci. [SE: blink blink]

SCENE 7 – THE ROOM
[SE: Glass breaking sound]
King Stefan: I am fed up with you. It’s enough! I deserve someone better and gives a shit! I’m done!
Queen Elsa: You what? What do you mean that you’re done? I’m the one who always take care of you when you’re sick; accompany you for ages, and you this brainless debris kind of man just said you’re done?!
King Stefan: Yes, I’m done! Perhaps I should make that clearer; you didn’t get me flowers on our anniversary or even a gift.
Queen Elsa: On our very first date, you said that you dislikes flower, you said they are a waste of money!
King Stefan: Every man in this world likes flowers! You are not getting it and you don’t care about me! All you care is FIFA world cup!
Queen Elsa: I didn’t! I hate the god damn soccer thing. It’s just a group of people chasing after a small tiny ball.
King Stefan: It’s not about your love towards soccer, it’s about the person you love, loves the soccer. And you, want to spend time together with him!
Narrator 1: A woman, with just a towel covering around the body, comes out of the bathroom. Both King Stefan and Queen Elsa stop arguing and turn in unison toward the direction.
Queen Elsa and the paramour: Who are you? (Pointing each other)
Queen Elsa and the paramour: Who is she? (Asking King Stefan)
King Stefan: Oh well, allow me to introduce. This lady here is now my only one and soon will replace you to become the new Queen of this kingdom. She can do everything you can, plus, she bought me flowers whenever there’s a special occasion! Huh (angrily)! I’m afraid I don’t need you anymore.
Queen Elsa: (sobbing) what? How can you do this to me?

King Stefan: I just did! Ahahaha…[SE: Snapping fingers] Guards, please send this disgusting used-to-be- queen female out of this castle!
Narrator 1: Right at that moment, Aurora enters the room.
King Stefan: Hey guard, and this pink little squirmy thing, with arms and legs who screams a lot, who used-to-be my daughter out too! I can get a new baby with this woman, also, with the help of the frog, Jordan in the pond.
Aurora: What? Daddy, what happened?
King Stefan: Oh sweetie, your mummy and daddy are going to divorce. You’re going to your mummy side because whenever I see you I recall about your hatred mother. So, get out of my sight immediately.
Narrator 1: So, the story continued to the poor former queen, Elsa and her little girl, Aurora. They shifted to a desolated village which is far, far away from the castle. Elsa was very sad and heartbreaking deep down inside, but she hid her feeling so well that nobody can ever noticed. She did not want Aurora to hate her daddy.
SCENE 8 – THE VILLAGE-MOORS
Narrator 2: Aurora walks towards the women. [SE: women chit chat sound]

Women: You will regret after knowing it. Just bear in mind to stay away from the place as far as possible. [SE: creepy sound]
Narrator 2: Curiosity had aroused Aurora’s heart after listening to the woman. Aurora tried to ask every villager that she meet on the way, but the response of the villagers were strange. They refused to tell Aurora and instantly run away from her. Aurora had no choice but to find the way to the new home herself, along with her mum.

Elsa: This is our only choice, my dear. After cleaning and decorating, it will become a sweet cozy home.
Aurora: Mom, why is our home located beside a big rundown mansion and no more houses around us. It makes no sense. The mansion is so contrast to our home, like a giant to a dwarf.
Elsa: Young lady, mind your own business, you shouldn’t have too much curiosity. Stop questioning and let’s just start our new life here.
Aurora: Okay, mum.
Narrator 2: Elsa had missed her ex-husband, King Stefan so much that she was literally struggled with depression and anxiety. But, Aurora was too careless to notice her mum’s feeling. As the saying goes, curiosity kills a cat. Curiosity had drowned Aurora. She could not stop herself and turn on deaf ears to her mother’s advice. She had secretly walked to the mansion without her mother’s knowledge.

SCENE 9 – THE MANSION
[SE: Door knocking sound]
Aurora: Hello? Is anybody there?

Narrator 2: Beast revealed himself to Aurora.
[SE: Girl’s screaming sound]
Narrator 2: Loneliness and sorrowfulness had filled Beast’s eyes. He never had a chance to explore love, either to love or to be loved by someone. However, Aurora had caught the sight of loneliness in his eyes. She sympthise Beast and wanted to show her concerns.
Aurora: I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to.
Beast: Never mind, I knew your response got to be like this, so the others around here did.
Aurora: I’m Aurora, my mum and I had just moved into the house, just beside yours. So, what’s your name?
Beast: Beast. I think that’s enough for your knowledge. Get out of my premise right now. I want to be alone.
Aurora: Well, I’ll just leave then.
Narrator 2: Even though Beast was fierce and impolite towards Aurora, she still wanted to make friend with Beast so that he will not feel lonely. The next day, she went to the mansion again, but this time, with a little surprise.
[SE: knocking the door]

Aurora will prepare delicious meal for Beast every day and spent a delightful time together. But, all of sudden, Aurora stop visiting Beast and disappeared like phantom.
Beast: What’s going on? Why does Aurora stop sending me meal for such a long time? Is she ok? Should I go to find out? Hmm...
SCENE 10 – THE WOODEN HOUSE OF AURORA AND ELSA
Aurora: Mom, why would you ever do this to me? Why? Why? (crying loudly)
Beast: Aurora, what happened? Why are you crying this much?
Aurora: Beast, my mom...my mom had committed suicide, I’m now all alone in this world, my dad abandoned me and my mum. Now, my mum abandoned me. (Crying loudly)
Beast: No, Aurora, don’t ever think like this, you still have me, don’t you? Come and stay with me, I’ll take good care of you.
Narrator 2: So, Aurora had moved to Beast’s mansion but she locked herself in the room and refused to eat. However, Beast never leaves Aurora alone. Slowly, Aurora recovered from the pain and sadness and soon realized that Beast had done so much for her that she was touched by Beast.
SCENE 11 – IN THE MANSION

...sheet of paper and asks her class what color the sheet of paper is. The class will view the paper in different colors because their view was affected by the different color tinted glasses. In the same way, our view will impact how we look at life. (109 words) The question of origin asks how life began and how mankind came into existence. God created life out of nothing (Genesis 1:1-25) and then He created man, male and female, in His own image (Genesis 1:26-27). The question of identity asks what it means to be human and if humans are more important than animals. Mankind is a special creation of God because we were created in the image of God and a little lower than the heavenly beings (Psalms 8:5). Humans are more important than animals, when God created mankind, we were given the responsibility of caring for the fish of the sea, the birds of the air and animals that move upon the earth (Genesis 1:28). The question of meaning or purpose asks we exist. We exist to love the Lord, to fear Him, to walk in His ways (Deuteronomy 10:12) and to serve Him and keep his commandments (Deuteronomy 11:13). The question of morality asks what is meant by right and wrong and how I should live. Right and wrong are based on God’s holy standard. As Christians, we believe in the fall of Adam and Eve and when they ate from the forbidden tree and as a result we are all born sinners (Psalms 51:5). We cannot be saved through good works but by allowing God to into our lives, accepting His gift...

Cold Nightsky

...01/10/2012-2nd paper Cold Nightsky I think of death as a transcendence to another state of being, that even after death I will keep on existing. At least I hope and live my life as such, since I love living, therefore I must keep on existing.. I must admit that I don’t think I would be in a healthy mental state to write this paper, if I really had pondered about the thought of death as an ending. I believe one would think of death in a real sense, either when they end up in a position of losing their health, or having a disease which is likely to make them feel death is near. Plato’s quote “the distraction of body on soul ” in this case would influence one to ask himself more serious questions and find real answers , instead of the ones he would ask himself, in his comfortzone of body and soul in harmony. Dying and being transformed into something else as particles in soil or whatever form that might take, is inevitable. Our physical existence will definitely become something else but our soul, will be separated from it, finally “splitting itself from the body” as Socrates interprets. From that moment on, our soul will no longer be disturbed by other effects such as time, and this state would be “all that a philosopher (a mortal) would ask for” he adds. But how is it that the soul lives on when the body dies? I can think and philosophize about things and happenings I have acquaintance with , how is it possible that the soul can keep thinking in a form without the...

...Christian, Christ like.. Some people say that we are just evolutionary result of the survival of the fittest Others think of reincarnation Most of our lives, we have been searching for a purpose for our lives, one that has a deeper meaning than just the basic action of existing on this planet. We felt that our lives were meant for something; and something meaningful and worthwhile that would give us a true reason to live. We searched for this purpose in things like relationships, a career, a job, a hobby, in school, and in many more things, only to find disappointment at every turn; because though these things could preoccupy us for a moment, they would ultimately fail at fulfilling our spiritual desire for a meaningful life. Then we find God, and we feel that we see our purpose clearly. We are full of excitement and hopeful to see what God will do with our lives. The overwhelming joy and excitement that drives us motivates us to share the good news with everyone around us, telling them of the great purpose that God has in store for our lives. We devote ourselves to learning more, growing more, and doing more for God. We surround ourselves with more and more people who call themselves Christians to glean as much as we can from them, astounded at the miraculous experiences they recount of God’s work in their lives. We are at the pinnacle of our joy, and we feel that we have what we have always been looking for. Never again will we feel lost; never again will we feel...

...daily decisions and actions.” (Weider & Gutierrez, p. 50). It is everything organized and prioritized in our minds, it is life. It is everything that we think of and are made of as human beings. II. Part Two 1. The Question of Origin asks, “How did life begin?” and “How did mankind come into existence?” (Weider & Gutierrez, p. 55). The Christian/biblical view on this is that God created everything that exists in the world and that He was the Creator. An example of this can be found in both Genesis 1:1 and Psalm 139:13-16. This view is also called Theism, there is no other source of creation. 2. The Question of Identity asks, “What does it mean to be a human?” and “Are humans more important than animals?” (Weider & Gutierrez, p. 57). According to the Theism view, mankind was created above the animal and man was created “a little lower than the angels” (Weider & Gutierrez, p. 58), which is in Psalm 8:5. Both men and women are responsible for taking care of all of God’s creations, this is talked about in Genesis 2:15. We are to respect and care for the earth and the animals all while using them for resources and food. It is a win-win situation. 3. The Question of Meaning/Purpose asks, “Why does mankind exist?” and “Why do I exist?” (Weider & Gutierrez, p. 59). The Theists believe that mankind is supposed to build a relationship with God and to know God. They believe that there is only one true God and that he sent Jesus Christ...

Fahrenheit 451 Society Quotes

...How does Mildred represent society? Do you know any people in your life who act like a clear representative of society? In Fahrenheit 451, Mildred serves as a prime example of someone like so, because she is basically the only one in the book who shows us the world Montag lives in. Mildred’s abstract personality provides for us a glimpse into the corrupt part of society that is so influenced by fake people. Her overuse of technology causes naivety, and the hatred of knowledge was only cultivated by what she heard from ignorant people. So she lives a life of truth and one a fake. Mildred’s obsession with technology and overuse of her electronic devices seem normal in the society of Fahrenheit 451. Her three TV-walls that obscure her parlor walls...

Serving in the Army

...A paper on serving in the army 1. Statement of the various views on serving in the army presented in the three texts. Each text gives its own opinion and view on serving in the army. Text 1 is an autobiographical text written by Sarah Palin in 2010 named “Why They Serve”. She tells that her son Track enlisted in the American army. She feels proud of the young men and women, who want to give up their freedom and risk their lives for the benefit of others. Sarah explains that the society asks the soldiers to stay away from their families for a long time, to live under bad conditions and to risk their lives. “The least – the very least – we can do is support them in this mission. That doesn’t mean never questioning a war or our leaders. It means understanding what fundamental principles are at stake, and acknowledging those who bear the burden of their defense. (p. 3 line 37-40). According to this text example, Sarah presents her chief point of view. She points out that the Americans should appreciate the basic difficulties that soldiers in the American army undergo. Text 2 is an article published from The Boston Globe website, written by David Zucchino, December 21, 2008 named “A soldier’s story: War affects whole family”. In this text, Zucchino writes about the side effects of being a veteran. He portrays a story about Army Sergeant Ryan Kahlor, who returned from war. He was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder. This of course had a major impact on...

My Plans

...My Plans for the Last Seven Days of My Life I would be devastated to know I only have one week to live on this Earth. I have a lot of goals set up; they have not been accomplished yet. I would feel like I failed in life, and this would depress me. On the other hand, I would not let the fear of dying in a week’s time deter me from accomplishing one of my dreams, and getting some plans in motion. If I only have had one week to live, the initial thing I would do after the shock of the news wears off is to contact a lawyer and have him prepare a will for me. A will is a legal document that would set forth how my assets would be distributed, and how my children would be taken care of. This would give me a peace of mind knowing that my family would not be fighting over my assets in my absence. It would also ensure that my children would be cared for. Their future is very important to me, so I would make sure they have enough money for their education. I believe education is the key to “success,” for without it one cannot advance in life. After I get the will drawn, I would spend time to write letters to people that I have offended to apologize and ask for their forgiveness. Forgiveness heals the soul, and it makes one feel better knowing someone does not bear a grudge against them. I would make amends for any wrong deed or disagreement that had happened between us. I would go out and visit relatives who I have not seen for a while and have a family reunion. I would hug and kiss...

Vladek Chapter 1 Summary

...chapter, Vladek (extremely old, weak, and sick) asks Art to help him install storm winds to save a little money on heat. Throughout the chapter, as Vladek continues with the story, he pesters his son about them. This shows that his frugal tendencies are constantly in the back of his mind. In chapter 9, Julia discusses his unwasteful tendencies when Vladek attempts to force Art to finish food. Art tells his father not to push himself, or else he may have another heart attack (which will be much more expensive than heating). Art sometimes needs to act like a father to his father. When he was a young man, there is an example of protective instincts over material goods. On the train from Dachau, he stays up most of the night protecting his Red Cross box from other...
