Theory Assignment 3 The Cloud
I use one of the many so called clouds. It’s called soundcloud (www.soundcloud.com). The basic concept of the cloud is that you can upload your documents or whatever you need and use them later no matter where you are located. As you can see from the name it is about music or sounds. I use cloud because it is easy to use with user-friendly interface and I can reach it from everywhere the two things I need are only PC/laptop/tablet/smartphone and interned connection. The cloud has unlimited storage, all the files are stored on servers. This means that everybody can upload their songs/tracks without concerns about the space. The best about cloud computing is that you can download everything you want just with few clicks it is easy. You can share, comment, search, share, download and upload in one place.
You don’t have to install any additional software. Now you can play tracks directly from the cloud, you don’t have to worry about any software requirements. It changes the way people share music with each other easy and free because now everything is organized in one place. And one of the important things is that you need to have basic knowledge of how to use internet.
The cloud influences businesses in many ways. Now it is easier than ever to put some documents on the web and then use it later when you need them. It is a good thing now for businesses to use clouds because when somebody upload document or some needed information and let everybody to use it.
The biggest players in the cloud computing are the people who manage the clouds. They provide the storage they keep on track if everything is going well.
The cloud will develop in many ways in the coming years. Because the cloud computing is connected to the internet connection so as faster the internet goes as faster the cloud goes. It also may provide some kind of help to the companies. And the cost of using the cloud will go down. The cloud will become more individual I mean that in the future there will be a cloud for everything for example cloud for accounting, cloud for marketing managers, cloud for CEOs and so on.

The future
Internet is changing so rapidly. In the last few years it became so fast and now you can use internet practically everywhere. In the future more and more people will use the internet. In the next couple of years internet will become necessity for most people. When HTML 5 sees the light of the day internet browsing will become easier and faster. With the developing of the smartphones using of internet became very easy now people with smartphones or tablets can use internet everywhere. In the future we will be able to use internet with voice commands. Example of what is coming in the future is the new Iphone 4s with its new features like Siri (beta (Developed by Apple)). Now your smartphone can recognize your voice and do what you tell it. Here is an example of how Siri works. “Just talk to Siri as you would to a person: “Do I need an umbrella?” or “Any great burgers around here?” or “Where’s the closest ATM?” Siri not only understands what you say, it knows what you mean. It figures out the right apps to use to find the right answer. Then, just like a personal assistant, it answers you.”1

The way I see the future of using internet in IS is that we will be able to do search through web only with our voices or even with our mind. The IS Technologies are changing too fast so we cannot predict what will be invented in the next 5 or 10 years.
