Great job at orientation and training, everyone! Your trainers are impressed and pleased by results. However they find you all could benefit from some additional courses to improve skills and abilities needed at your job, so here are some perfect choices for you!

Six months from now there is going to be two kinds of courses offered - basic skills classes and advanced courses. In the meantime, during the following six months, your managers will evaluate each and every one of you and may recommend taking one or more of either basic skills or advanced courses. If you feel you would benefit from it, you may choose to take a course even without recommendation.

Basic skills courses

For some of you it would be beneficial to improve written and verbal communication. We will arrange basic, intermediate, and advanced levels of reading, writing, and math.
Good to know: • courses will be held during working hours • Employees will be paid for the time in class • Books will be provided • Progress in the courses will be taken into account for quarterly performance reviews and annual salary reviews • Homework and studying will have to be done in the employee’s free time

Advanced courses

Employees who are not going to be offered to improve basic skills, but are feeling the need for more education to keep up with scientific developments related to work, will be encouraged to take courses at local universities.
Those of you would: • Get all possible help from the EGB in a search of universities and recommended courses • Use the improved companies tuition reimbursement program: ✓ All full-time employers will be eligible for tuition reimbursement program ✓ EBG will increase maximum reimbursement for up to $5000 a year which will cover tuition, fees, and books expenses ✓ The grade C will be mandatory for reimbursement
!!! Incentive for those who will maintain at least a B in a course!!! With your manager’s approval you will be able to take a half day off, with pay, on the days your courses meet.
