At & T Vs Verizon Competitive Analysis

On our today’s competitive business environment, what makes a product and a company succeed, would be how they handle their strategy to overcome competitors and reach the first position on customer’s demand. An example of this competition would be this two telecommunication companies AT&T and Verizon, both companies claiming themselves as the best wireless communication provider for the customers. If we take a close look inside both companies, we will notice they have aspects that differs one from another, in terms of mission, strategy and competitive priorities.
First we will take a look on both companies’ mission. Verizon’s mission is to enable communication between people and business allowing them to communicate each other faster and in a easily way, they are also committed to provide a full communication with their customers employees, and investors. AT&T mission is to Connect people with their world, everywhere they live and work and do it in a manner than anyone could do it. As we can see both companies have different mission, while Verizon is focus in bring a wireless business entirely in the U.S, AT&T is trying to expand its horizons and reach other countries to give an international service to its customers. …show more content…
As we mentioned previously the mission of the Verizon company is completely focused on providing a communication service that works 100% for the U.S citizens this could be also seen as its strategy, since they want to be the number 1# company in wireless service in the U.S, a market that have 243 millions of wireless subscribers.
