This Record Label company was a partnership between Ahmet Ertegun And Herb Abramson. The features that appear between these P layers include less intense desiccation layers, downcutting events, large sand ripples and prograding wedges. These findings are in agreement with those of Bates et al. (2007) and Lamb Bates et al. (2007) who have also used other seismic records to identify lake level fluctuations in Lake Tana. The lake level fluctuations identified in the seismic records from Lake Tana correlate well with many of the lake level fluctuations of other large African lakes, such as Lake Victoria (Johnson et al, 1996), Lake Challa (Moernaut et al., 2010) and Lakes Tanganyika and Malawi (Scholz and Rosendahl, 1988). From 98 k yr BP to 91 k yr BP there are only a few other records of the fluctuations that are observed in Lake Tana. Panamanians are still proud of the curious Balboa who discovered the Pacific, surveyed the Panama route across the Central America Isthmus and found that there existed a difference in the levels of the respective oceans. As the potato crop continued to fail, more and more Irish left their homeland for America and Canada on these famine ships. In search of a better existence, many Irish risked their lives by taking the 3,000-mile voyage on ships that weren’t fit for service. Many of them died from sickness, starvation or accidents while in route, yet they kept coming, for their fate at home was even worse. Between 1846 and 1851 emigration from Ireland to America and Canada increased drastically due to the deteriorating famine conditions in Ireland. When the potato crop failed in 1846, “more than 100,000 had crossed the Atlantic by year’s end” (Laxton 13). This mass evacuation of people required more ships than were available, so many ships were refitted in order to carry passengers one way and then freight the other. The living quarters beneath the ships were over crowded and unsanitary. Wooden boards were thrown together in the ship’s hold as makeshift bunks, and each passenger had a very small space to live during the trip. The crews were often abusive and the food and water rations the passengers were promised frequently never materialized, so several starved on the voyage. The air masses which play the biggest role in determining the weather in the UK are the Polar and Tropical maritime air masses. The first of these is the Tropical continental air mass which travels over the Atlantic Ocean from the south west of the UK. During the winter, when we are affected by this particular air mass, we can expect conditions to be relatively mild and often rainy.
