As a student currently learning about test development, my experience as a test-taker when taking the Australian Psychology Critical Thinking Test (APCTT) was unique compared to previous surveys I have completed. As I was more aware of the development process behind the test, I found myself pondering the more technical side of the survey. Specifically, if my ‘peak behind the curtain’ somehow influenced my responses. In terms of content, I found Section 2 to be illuminating as means of self-assessment. I was able to identify areas of study that require refreshing, as well as identify possible areas of personal bias.
