I know within the school they have rubbish duty periods were the whole period all students get a area to pick up a bag of rubbish, this helps reduce the factor of the school looking dirty and unhygienic. It is a good way to ensure that they are looking out for the hygiene. Another area I have noticed are the bathrooms, there is never any soap in the dispensers which isn't hygienic at all.
