Plot:
The Queen looked out at her only son, the heir to the kingdom, walking home from the tavern after a night of sex and drinks. To become the king, she wanted him to become, she put the idea in her husband head that their son needs an adventure. The country use to have a tenth kingdom that got struck by a plague, meaning all the treasure is still in the kingdom, and the King wants his son to find it. Not trusting his son alone, the King sends the countries best huntsman with him as a guide. Meeting a girl in a red hood, Petra, who has a stage attraction to wolves, the odd trio sets off. Where her name is not Aurora, but Beauty, she wakes up as soon as the Prince kisses her slash when the huntsman binds the prick on her finger. Instantly …show more content…
Taken from the story of Sleeping Beauty and mixing it with Beauty and the Beast, Sarah Pinborough is writing her own stories, based off the ones you fell asleep too. Where Charm was the sequel to Poison, based off the knowledge gather from one story to the next, Beauty seemed like the prequel to Poison, so why was this book not number one? Featuring our non-mouse huntsman dreaming off a red-head Cinderella, and our favourite Prince, who has no memory of falling in love with another sleeping princess, as he falls head over heels for Beauty. Pinborough skipped over some of the sex scenes, just going from the kisses with clothes on, to the cuddling in nudity, a shocker compared to the other books. But still sticking with her usual scraped, Pinborough writes a detailed orgy with some girl on girl action for a nice change of pace. Still a terrible novel, overall the series is trash, but this one more than the other two as it does not fit with the timeline. For the last book in the series, she placed it as the final book, stopping the whole flow of things. Where the cover art of these books is great, with their red ribbon to mark your page (depending on the copy), these books are sadly not worth your dollars (or pennies even). Even though they were written approximately 1900 years apart, they represent two of the most valuable commentaries on political philosophy. They are of course, very different in their discussions of philosophy, yet some similarities are evident. Plato writes about philosophy through the mouth of Socrates, illustrating indirectly through a lengthy dialogue his own ideas and opinions. As a contrast to this method of narration, Machiavelli writes The Prince as a letter of personal advice to Lorenzo Medici.
