Due to the impending and upcoming presidential election of this year, 2016, to whomever the president should be, they must possess certain qualities and traits to effectively run the country. Additionally, they have to be a role model or in other words, a shining example of strong character, that is because nowadays, this country has developed drastically over the course of this last century. Therefore, I, personally, believe that the next and forty-fifth president of the United States should be Bernie Sanders. This is attributed to several reasons why he is the best candidate by exhibiting character and leadership skills and in turn, will serve as a great and successful president for the next four years that are to come.

For instance, climate change, as a superpower of the world, the United States has the responsibility and willpower to advocate change. He proposes many different solutions to this problem, so that he will in fact do something as it shall serve a precedent for others to follow suit. Therefore, this demonstrates the country's ability to address contemporary issues worldwide, not just domestic, as a solution to this problem requires cooperation with other countries. Additionally, he advocates for "A Fair and Humane Immigration Policy" because he claims that this country was founded and built by immigrants. Rather than restricting immigration, he believes that everyone should receive an opportunity of living The "American Dream," a better life for those who wish to strive for it. Lastly, he shows leadership when addressing the issue of Women's Rights Equality. One particular matter is the wage gap between men and women. He has the intention to have women receive the equal wage amount, as they are doing the same work that men do. Therefore, he has even more potential to impact the entire country, thus proving his leadership will lead to great and major change.
