When trying to determine what works best for a company, as well as what may not work companies must get those involved that actually make the difference. This would be the employees and the loyal customers of the business. I will use both, survey and interviews for data collection to determine the success or things that’s recommended to be changed which will help benefit the business. Polling the employee through in interview will give the opportunity for the employee to state what they think can be done differently due to them dealing with customers continuously on a daily basis. They hear the voice of the customer as they are making the purchase. Although customers make the purchase they may have asked a particular question concerning the loyalty program or made a suggestion as to something they may want to see the store implement that may not be voiced during they survey they do alone on behalf of the business.
When surveying customers in the form of a questionnaire you are looking for specific information from what can be referred to as one of the most important assets to a company which are the customers. By using the restricted form of the questionnaire you will allow the customer to give the answer in the area you have that needs to be addressed. The questionnaire will be shot, that way you have a greater chance of the survey returning. Sometimes long surveys will not get answered due to the person taking it not wanting to take the time and go through each question due to the survey being so long.
As you determine the interest of your customers, things they may dislike as well as their goals you are able to have them repeat their business. Below are a few questions that will be listed for the customer to answer. The questionnaire will ask to select one of the following: strongly agree, strongly disagree, somewhat agree, somewhat disagree, agree and disagree. * Are the store hours convenient for your shopping needs * A good selection of products are available * The store has the lowest price in the area * The merchandise is sold for a good value of the money * Overall I am satisfied with the store * I am very satisfied with the price I paid for what I bought * I am very satisfied with the merchandise I bought
The statistical approach that will be used will be the alternative hypothesis. This will be used because you are determining the overall relationship between the business and the customer. When rewarding customers for being loyal; this will guarantee a great relationship between the two. The results will be displayed as those with good customer survey remarks versus the bad. The bad results will be taken and reviewed to turn the negative remarks into positive remarks for the company.
