Think Rich, Pinoy!

...Cyndrex Buenafe BS ABM "Think Rich, Pinoy!" (Reflection Paper) This book by Larry Gamboa is an interesting and useful guide for students like me. As an AgriBusiness Major, I found this book very helpful for my study and also an inspiration for young aspiring entrepreneurs like me. The author shares with us the secrets to becoming wealthy and having a lot of money without really working hard for it. Reading this book was a big contribution to my education as a business inclined student who is still learning how to excell and bloom in the field of entrepreneurship. I also learned how important and beneficial the opportunities brought by engaging in real estate investments. This book also showed how interesting and amazing it is to earn a passive income. Passive income means earning money while just having a vacation somewhere or by just enjoying quality time with your family or loved ones without working hard all day and all night. This book is a great help to those who are in need of money especially. It is an eye opener to those who dont have the hope and courage of trying to make their self free from poverty and be out of the poverty line. It is not your fault that you are born poor, but it is going to be your fault if you will remain poor for the rest of your life. After reading this book, my knowledge about business widened and it provided a significant effect in my perspective of how essential it is to be enlightened of the things around us. This book...

...Assembly Language Programming Lecture Notes Delivered by Belal Hashmi Compiled by Junaid Haroon Preface Assembly language programming develops a very basic and low level understanding of the computer. In higher level languages there is a distance between the computer and the programmer. This is because higher level languages are designed to be closer and friendlier to the programmer, thereby creating distance with the machine. This distance is covered by translators called compilers and interpreters. The aim of programming in assembly language is to bypass these intermediates and talk directly with the computer. There is a general impression that assembly language programming is a difficult chore and not everyone is capable enough to understand it. The reality is in contrast, as assembly language is a very simple subject. The wrong impression is created because it is very difficult to realize that the real computer can be so simple. Assembly language programming gives a freehand exposure to the computer and lets the programmer talk with it in its language. The only translator that remains between the programmer and the computer is there to symbolize the computer’s numeric world for the ease of remembering. To cover the practical aspects of assembly language programming, IBM PC based on Intel architecture will be used as an example. However this course will not be tied to a particular architecture as it is often done. In our view such an approach...

...Technology in Banking Insight and Foresight Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (Established by Reserve Bank of India) Foreword The Indian banking industry, almost in keeping with the deep entrepreneurial approach of the country s business, has come a long way. This report is an effort to capture some exemplary initiatives and developments so far as well as discuss the emerging trends. The insights and understanding of the technology trends and ground-level work being done by the banks has been culled from the nominations received from banks for the IDRBT Banking Technology Excellence Awards 2010. The transformation of Indian banks in the last decade has been phenomenal from local branch banking to global presence and anywhere-anytime banking. Most of the regular banking transactions can today be carried out from mobile phones. Sustained reforms and information technology (IT) have played a pivotal role since the initiation of the second phase of reforms post 1998. The benefits of technology such as scale, speed and low error rate are also reflecting in the performance, productivity and profitability of banks, which have improved tremendously in the past decade. Regulatory initiatives from the Central Bank have also played a large role in the banking sector. Robust technology-enabled organizations have now become the mainstay of the industry. Initiatives such as electronic clearing service (ECS), national electronic funds transfer (NEFT), real-time...
