Job 1, Benefits Specialist, is with the company, Silverleaf Resorts in Dallas, Texas. The successful candidate for this position will act as a liaison between benefit carriers and the employers, as well as the go to person for employees with benefit questions or concerns. This individual will create a 401K Payroll Check spreadsheet for payroll to follow, and to monitor paychecks to ensure each participant has the correct deductions coming from each check. Processing termination paperwork and removing deductions for employee paid benefits from the payroll system is also part of the responsibilities of this position. It is crucial for the chosen candidate to be able to work as part of a team, and to plan, review as well as approve the Open Enrollment strategy, presentation, benefit guide, and other related materials. This position has a requirement of a Bachelor’s degree, experience working in benefits, ability to multi-task, as well as having strong organizational and communication skills. Having strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially in Excel and all pertinent federal and state regulations is also a job requirement. Relocation is not specified.

Job 2, Human Resources College Intern, is a full time position, with the company USAA in San Antonio, Texas. The chosen candidate for this position will learn to provide advice and support to all levels of enterprise management and internal partners on various Human Resource programs. They will also assist with tactical solutions that influence changes in culture, management practices, and work environment. The individual must be currently pursuing Bachelors, Masters degree or MBA in Business, General Management, Human Resources or related field of study. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other software used to develop analysis, charts, learning modules and/or supporting documentation is required. Being able to work 40 hours a week during summertime in San Antonio, TX and having an expected graduation date of August 2014 or later is a must.

Job 3, Human Resources Supervisor, is with Hunter & Sage, LLC in Houston Texas. The successful candidate will work with the Human Resource Director to develop departmental goals, objectives, and recommend new approaches, practices, and procedures to drive continuous process improvement. Align department activities to department goals and objectives to support the delivery of business goals. The individual is responsible for compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, to study existing and new legislation, anticipate new requirements and advise the Director on needed actions. You must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, have 5+ years of experience with a broad understanding of Human Resources including compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits, recruiting, performance management, and training. Willingness to travel is a plus.
