General Description Of The Venture

Quizzes Sub is a fast food sandwich-franchise that specializes in toasted submarine sandwiches. As of 2005, it is the second largest submarine sandwich shop chain in North America, passing the older and slower growing simple though still a fraction of the size of the subway.
There are over 5000 shops located in the United States, over 300 in Canada and 100 more scattered in 20 other countries including the UK,Ireland, Aruba,Cayman Islands,Costa Rica,Puetro Rica,Colombia,Turkey,Guotemala,EL Salvador,Guan and Panama.
In 2002,”Wendy’s Supa Sundaes” acquired the rights to the brand for franchises in Australia but were unsuccessful in lunching the chain in either country. Quiznos no longer operates in either country.
All of Quiznos sandwiches are served toasted at the customer’s request. The best selling subs are the classic Italian the mosque chicken Carbonara and the Turkey, Romch and Swiss sub.
While Quiznos did not originate toasted sub, the rapid success is thought to have led to other chains following suit, suybway began offering toasted subs in 2004. Buston Market began toasting their sandwich in 2005 and Blimpie began offering toasted subs in 2006.

History of Quiznos Sub: * This exactly how to happen for Rick Schaden, President and CEO Quiznos Sub.It began back in 1986. Rick overhead a customer in Quiznos Sub Restaurant claim, and “This is the best sandwich T never ate”. Overhearing those words led Rick to purchase his first franchise in Boulder, Colorado. Over the next few years, Rick opened two more Quiznos sub franchise and in 1991 he bought the Quiznos Sub Company. * Today Rick has bought the dream “Owning your own business” to over 2000 franchise throughout the world. Customers can be heard saying, “This is the best sub I ever ate” from Vancouver, Canada to Tampa, Florida.

Quiznos Sub Mission Statement: * To be the leader in the quick service restaurant by serving the best sandwiches in the market place, one successful restaurant and one ‘wowed’ Customer at a time are their mission statement.

Standards: * “Toasted really does better”. Toasted subs are Quiznos success. It all starts with their proprietary bread, trademark dressings, hand slices meals and cheeses placed open faced through a Conveyor Oven. The high quality ingredients are warmed just unique subs on their menu. The toasty taste of success comes from the high quality, fresh ingredients. Both of these are available in Quiznos Sub.

Buston Market began toasting their sandwich in 2005 and Blimpie began offering toasted subs in 2006.

Marketing Plan

Current scenario of Franchise Business in Bangladesh:
If we analyze the current scenario in Bangladesh, we can find out a small amount of Franchise.
We know that it is risky & expensive business, but if we looked the developed countries, most of them are involved with the business. Through this business, they are earning a lot. They are competating with themselves.
Even developing countries like Pakistan, Chaina, Indonesia, and Singapore & Thailad have already started this business & they are getting better day by day through this business. But in our country we could not get this type of situation.
We can mention the “Pizza Hut” is the first franchise company of Bangladesh. We must acclaim them for their steps. But they are joint franchise, among business in restaurant sector.

SWOT Analysis:
Strength:
* We are starting our business in the pattern under the restaurant sector in our country. Because most of the franchises of our country are joint franchises. But our business is only franchise business. * Our food is not homemade food. Its 100% hygienic. * We hope that we are going to make a new respective image of Bangladesh & friendly relationship with U.S.A which can be convinced our customers to eat our foods.
Weakness:
* If we think in a straight way, we have to say that high cost of food is a main weak point of our business. But if we think in a logical way, we have to mention that our target customers are rich peoples, who easily bear this cost.
Opportunities:
* In our country there are a lot of fast food shops. But all are centered in Dhaka City. Its great opportunity for us, if we will be able to cover whole Bangladesh.
Threats:
* Whose are running joint franchise business, these people will be threat for our business.

STP Analysis:
Market segmentation:
If we segment our market then we can find four classes people. They are lower people, mid lower people, middle class people & higher class people. Their ratings of earnings are different from others. After analyzing we can see that in per year they are earning- Class | Income Per Year | Higher class | 1200000 | Middle Class | 300000 | Mid Lower Class | 72000 | Lower Class | 20000 |

The price of our food is high. So it can buy those people whose are well earners & be success to fulfill all their basic needs. By seeing this chart we can get clear idea about those people, who will be our possible customers.

Target Market:
After analyzing everything about the market all we have agreed that our possible customers are higher Class & Lower Class people. Because they are able to buy our foods.
Positioning:
To take a strong position in market at first we will ensure our customers that our food making processes are 100% hygienic. We will use all types of media coverage for showing these processes.

Marketing Mix Analysis:
Product Identification:
We are specialized for sandwich & toasted foods.
So toasted food means- * Different types of Burgers, * Rolls * Pizza * & Specially Sandwich.
Types of Distribution Channel:
We have sales center to people. Except it we will use delivery van for giving home service. These vans will be completely equipped to provide service our customers.
Store Location:
We will import our food ingredients from Quiznos-Sub. To keep these fresh we will use share house which will be situated near our main sales at Banani.
Pricing:
Cost of our food will be high. But already we have mentioned it that our target customers are middle & higher-class people.
Promotion:
To promote our business in market, to make our foods & brand name well known to our customers, we will use some ways- * Media coverage through television, radio, newspaper etc. * Website advertisement. * Giving sponsorship. * Inaugurating occasion. * Handbill, etc.

Competitor Analysis:
If we analysis the current scenario in Bangladesh, we can find small amount of Franchise. We can mention that the “Pizza Hut” is the first franchise company of Bangladesh. But this is joint venture. By seeing Pizza Hut’s movement Dominas Pizza, KFC, Western Grill, Wimpy, Yum Yum & all they are involved in this joint franchising business. They are only using brand name not original food recipe. They also well knew company. So if we want to take greater position in this business, we need to do something different in this sector.
Corporate Social Analysis:
We are going to start a new type of business under restaurant sector in our country. But we can assure our customers, that we will serve them best-qualified foods. We will provide our people actual taste of tasty foods especially we can mention about sandwich which will be more delicious items in our country. We can assure to customer a healthy food.
We will do some social works from our profit through this way: * Help landless people to build their own house. * We will help unemployed people to be employed. * We will help flood affected people. * We will help nonprofit organization.

Management Plan

Organization’s stricture:
Basically structure of our organization is a Functional Organization. The process of a business which we are going to do its joint venture but in the other side we are ten partners & all we are agreed to do this business, so you can say it’s a partnership business.
All we have a personal business so we cannot give sufficient time for our new business. That’s why we want to appoint a man who will run our business. A monthly salary we will give him. We will also appoint some other men whose will work in some different segment like finance, management & service section. In the lower level we will have some workers.

Staffing Plan:
We will appoint a man who will be our General Manager. For maintaining our organization we will have a direct connection with him.
For helping a General Manager there will be a three Assistant Manager. One is for finance section, other one is for management section & the last one is for service department.
In each department to help these managers there will be some officers. In the last level there will be some staffs whose will work under the guidance of those officers.

Staffing Budget:
For fulfilling our staffing plan we need a budget.
Here is our budget-

Number OfPeople | Designation | Salary (Per Year) | 1 | General Manager | 360000 | 3 | Assistant manager | 720000 | 8 | Officer | 1440000 | 30 | Normal Staff | 720000 |

Operating Plan

Operations: * Quiznos Sub is dedicated to grow the Quiznos brand by building financially successful franchise, serving the best sub sandwich in the market. * Quiznos franchising is organized into two major group: (a)Franchise Development: Which focuses on growing the chain and the other is
(b)Franchise Support Services: This is dedicated solely to supporting their referent owners * They are committed to increasing brand equity through the development of new franchise as well as building a strong company of individual restaurants.

Manufacturing Segment: * Service related facilities * We will supply our foods to our customers according to their orders. Our main target is to satisfy our customers by providing them qualified foods. * We will provide our supplier on companies, offices, embassies through our transportation system. * Students can buy more qualified foods from us than others in a reasonable price. * We will also provide our special food items for general people on special occasions on various purposes. * Service related equipments, general furniture and transportation factors * Equipments: We will import our equipments from “Quiznos Sub” of USA. * General Furniture: We will buy our furniture from ‘Otobi’ because of their best qualities. * Transportation Factor: we have identified 2 ways to import our raw materials anf service related equipments. These are- a) We can import our needed things by plan. b) We can also import our needed things by ship.
But between these 2 ways we have selected the first one because we are already committed with our business that we will make a good profit when we will run our business. And for this reason we must lessen our expense & also any kind of risky movement. But if we want to import our materials through ship we have to pay a lot which may create a risky environment for our business to run. We have articulated in our commitment that when we will start our business, we must be meticulous about our business strategy. * Source of Raw materials We will import our raw materials from ‘Quiznos Sub’ company of USA.

Financial Plan

Conclusion

In our country, the marketing entrepreneurs should know the customers choose about their product for the success of their organization.
As practice in retailing, franchising offers franchise, the advantage of starting up a new business quickly based on a proven trademark & formula of doing business, as opposed to having to build a new business & brand from search. After their brand & formula are carefully designed & properly executed, franchises are able to expand rapidly across countries & continents, & can earn profit commensurate with their contribution to those countries. So we are launching this project.

To better understand your competition. Creating the business plan forces you to analyze the competition. All companies have competition in the form of either direct or indirect competitors, and it is critical to understand your company's competitive advantages. 4. To better understand your customer. Why do they buy when they buy? Why don’t they when they don't? An in-depth customer analysis is essential to an effective business plan and to a successful business. 5. To enunciate previously unstated assumptions. The process of actually writing the business plan helps to bring previously "hidden" assumptions to the foreground. A business plan is a document designed to detail the major characteristics of a firm--its product or service, its industry, its market, its manner of operating (production, marketing, management), and its financial outcomes with an emphasis on the firm's present and future. There are two circumstances under which creating a business plan is absolutely necessary. One is when outsiders expect it. This is called external legitimacy. ...4.0 BUSINESS GROWTH STRATEGY 4.1 How and Why Vida Beauty Adopt This Growth Strategy First of all, growth strategy refers to an organization substantially broadens the scope of one or more of its business in terms of their respective customer group, customer functions and alternative technologies to improve its overall performance. Then, in developing growth strategies for growth firm there are two strategies which is internal growth strategy and external growth strategy. Internal strategy involves efforts taken within the firm itself. Then, for perform internal strategy they need to create new product development, other product related strategy and international expansion with the purpose of increasing sales revenue and profitability. External strategy is relying on establishing relationships with third parties such as mergers, acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, licensing and franchising. In our opinion, Vida Beauty use internal strategy to make sure that the companies become a growth firm and expansion. In internal growth strategies the distinctive attributes of internally generated growth is that a business relies on its competencies, expertise and the employee also. In addition, internally also called as “organic growth” because it does not rely on outside intervention. Organic growth is growth that comes from a company’s existing business as opposed to growth that comes from buying new business. Besides that, it also the process of business expansion due...
