Taystee faced a lot of re-entry issues that made her just want to go back to jail. Jail symblized something that was familar, her own little space and surrounded by people she loved. Once released, Taystee stayed with a cousin who had a two bedroom apartment, crowedd with other family members and random people.Taystee was suppose to attend three job interviews a week and follow the other guidelines of her probation requriement. Other women being released may face the same issues and more especially when their is children involved. These women have a hard time securing jobs, intergrating back into the community, gaining stablity and forming quality relationships with friends and family.
