Stress is a normal physical reaction to events that make you feel threatened or upset. Many different things can cause stress. It can be caused by emotional things such as relationships. Identifying what may be causing your stress is the first step in learning how to deal with your stress. Stress stops being helpful and starts causing major damage to your well being, your mood, your productivity, your relationship, and our quality of life. The situations and pressures that cause stress are known as stressors. We often think of stressors as a bad thing, such as a very busy work day or a hurtful relationship. However, anything that puts pressure on you or forces you to change the way you think is stressful. This might also include good things or events such as getting married, buying a house, going to college or even getting a promotion.

What level of stress depends on, at least in part, on how you accept it. Something that is stressful to you may not be stressful to someone else. Your ability to deal stress depends on many things such as how your relationship is going, your general outlook on life or your emotional status.

Effects of Stress: Your body doesn’t know the difference between physical stress and mental stress. Thinking about things that stress you out such as mate accident monthly bills, your body reacts the same way as if you were facing a life or death situation. If you have a lot of troubles and worries, your stress level is going to be all the time. The more you stress yourself, the harder it is to get a level head about things.

Long term exposure to stress can affect your health. Chronic stress disrupts every system in your body. It can cause high blood pressure, increase the risk of a heart attack or a stroke, and speed up the aging process. Long term stress can affect your thinking also leaving you more vulnerable to anxiety and depression. Many health problems are caused from stress including, pain, heart disease, insomnia, depression, obesity and skin ailments.

It is very important to learn how to recognize when you have a lost your control when stressed out. The most dangerous thing about stress is that you can be stressed out and don’t know it. You become so used to it that becomes familiar or even normal. If you have confidence in yourself and your ability to get through challenges it is easier to take stress is stride. People who have too much stress on them feel like they have lost control of themselves.

Things that may be stressful for you may not be stressful for others. For example some people enjoy public speaking; others are terrified of it. Some people work better under pressure; others are unbelievably stressed. Some people are willing to help out family and friends through hard time; other fined it to be very stressful and difficult. Some people may enjoy thee challenge of the chain of command at work and welcome it; some people worry about whether they can deal with it. Cause and effects of stress are very common place in society today. You may feel like in your stress in your life is out of your hands, but you can always control the way you respond to situations that are stressful. Managing stress is all about taking charge of things; such as take change of your thoughts, your emotions; even though we can’t help you how you feel sometimes, your hectic work schedule, also you surroundings and the way you handle these situations.

You can’t eliminate stress from your life altogether but you can control how it affects you. There are ways of handling stress in tough times; such as breathe deeply, relax your muscles and laugh. Laughter relaxes the body and relieves stress more than you can imagine.

In collusion the cause and effect of stress can be detrimental to you health and well being. Developing a healthier lifestyle and building stress relieves into your daily schedule can help you to relax and also help your body and your mind bounce back from stress.
