It also aims to identify students’ preferred HTM study areas. An empirical study of a cohort of 384 HTM students was conducted to determine their motives for their choice of HTM. The results indicate that there were five motivational factors among HTM students: self-actualisation, job opportunity, field attractiveness, ease of study, and scholastic achievement. The participants’ (1) opinion and knowledge on “global climate change”, “climate change in Hong Kong” and “building services engineering in Hong Kong” and (2) their perceptions towards the perceptions and actions from different groups were measured. In summary, no respondent disagreed with the occurrence of the global climate change but they appeared to be generally not showing strong feelings or opinions towards the climate change issues and their perceptions on different bodies. They may have limited knowledge about the Kyoto Protocol. Developers in Hong Kong were perceived to be the party which did not perceive climate change as a problem and did not take action to mitigate the impacts brought by climate change. Lastly respondents showed different points of view on whether building services engineering has an adverse impact on climate change. With intensive competition in the fashion industry, Raoul must have it own identity in order to differentiate itself from the competitor. Analyses have been undertaken to determine what necessary strategies to be implemented to enhance the brand image so as to increase profits. Strategies are recommended by taking advantage of Raoul‟s strengths and building on their weaknesses in order to take advantage of the available opportunities in the market and to defend it from threats. It also has some spectacular urban centers, recently stimulated by massive economic growth. Unfortunately, the act of pulling people out of poverty and into the developed world often comes at the expense of the local environment. This is true of all countries in this scenario, but it’s particularly acute for Southeast Asian nations, as their economies — especially the tourism sector — depend so fundamentally on pristine natural resources. Most of the environmental issues in Southeast Asia are inextricably linked, and working to ameliorate one will often have added benefits for the others. Here are some of the problems, and some things you personally can do to help. 1. Endangered species conservation The problem: Southeast Asia sits almost entirely in the tropics, and as such, is covered in rich, dense, biologically diverse jungle.
