Choosing a computer can be difficult, just from the utter quantity of technological choices a person has to make. There are various models of systems that a person can choose from, they can choose from netbooks, laptops, or desktops. Next, a person has to think about what specifications they would like to have; this will consist of the measure of RAM needed, which processor and graphics card would be best appropriate for their needs, and which hard drive will be best. They would have to select what applications they would need. Finally, a person would have to determine which brand to buy out of the various types. With such a broad array of options, it is no wonder that a person would have such a hard time choosing a computer. When choosing a type of system, a person must first think about whether or not they would like a computer that they can take on the go or if they want one that is stationary.
Netbooks are compact notebooks with small screens (10 – 12 inches), and components that are more about saving battery life than delivering raw power. Therefore, they do have a slow CPU, a RAM of usually 1-2 GB, no DVD drive, and a low amount of hard drive space. However, they are great for those who only need only basic web browsing, emailing, and other associated tasks. Their small size makes the netbook extremely portable; as most are only around 1-1.5kg), their battery life is usually very good and lasts for about 4-10 hours, and they are one of the cheaper ways to go when purchasing a computer.
Laptops can seem cumbersome by comparison to their netbook cousins, but they can operate with a lot more applications that are powerful. They are twice the weight, have larger screens and more effective CPUs, but their battery life struggles to attain even a whopping 3 hours in some cases. These are

Business Ethics Decision

...my job. One of these challenges includes choosing a potential supplier, out of ten candidates, for upgrading one of Zircon’s computing facilities. Recently, a sales rep for Computer-Whiz approached me with the opportunity to take my family on a trip to the Bahamas. The sales rep indicated that the offer would solely be a way of building a relationship. However, nothing in life is free. Although the sales rep said the trip would be a way of building a relationship, I think the sales rep would expect me to choose his company. I would not only feel guilty, but also unethical taking the vacation knowing that I would not choose Computer-Whiz, as they are not the best option for Zircon. The best solution I believe is to not accept the offer and to objectively choose the supplier that has the best technology for the lowest price. By choosing the supplier with the best technology for the lowest price, it would set up our company up for long-term success. If you choose a company that is cheaper, but does not have the best technology at this point, you are going to have to upgrade the technology sooner rather than later, thus costing the company more in the long run. While choosing the company with the best technology, you will not have to upgrade the computing facility for a longer period of time. I would also not want to risk my boss knowing that I took an offer. He could look at the offer as a reason I decided to to pick Computer-Whiz, even though I know that it would ultimately...
