This book impacted me in many ways. This book tells me that I was created for God’s family, fashioned to be like Christ, designed to serve and ordained for God’s mission. This book impacts me most when it reassures me that I was created to serve (ministry) and because of this I have a better understanding of my life and why it should be purpose driven. In chapter 3 the quote that really popped out to me was “Nothing matters more than knowing God’s purpose for your life, and nothing can compensate for not knowing them.” This quote brought me to the realization that when I know what God called me to do I will have a better appreciation for God and his purpose for my life.
