There’s a new neighbor on the block who’s bringing a whole new meaning to the word “family” in Indianapolis. The brand new, 87,000-square-foot City Way YMCA has joined Athenaeum and Bike Hub in an unprecedented alliance of three downtown Y’s within walking distance of each other. They are all full-service facilities; each with its own unique personality. Families can use one, two or all three facilities depending on what they need and want. Combined, they offer family services and resources that are without equal.

A sample of what we offer:

• Learn how to combat Type II (adult onset) Diabetes in the YMCA Diabetes Prevention Program.

• Youth can discover the fun of exercise through our fitness facilities, including gymnasiums, a running track, swimming and more.

• Adults can burn off those pesky calories in Pilates or many other fitness classes. All are led by highly experienced instructors.

The founders of the YMCA had a vision back in the 1840s. Let’s create an institution that helps all people with their daily lives: the young and the old, the rich and the poor. For those who cannot afford it, we’ll find ways to help them make their lives better through this new organization called the YMCA.
