With such a broad selection of fruits provided to us, there is one in particular that seems to make my taste buds go wild; the coconut. This exotic fruit, only found in the tropics, is the one that is considered to be my favorite of all. It not only has refreshing tasty water on the inside, but also has solid fruit on the inner part of the sphere shaped cover. The particular type of coconut I enjoy eating is the Maypan Coconut. This coconut has a solid surface, which differentiates it from the one that appears to have hair-like elements. To be able to effectively consume this fruit and the water inside the coconut, one must first make sure there is water inside, because if not it will not taste too pleasant. In order to drink the water inside the coconut, you must open a small hole to fit a straw or to drain the water into a cup. After one makes sure there is no water on the inside, you should use a powerful cutting instrument, such as a machete to cut it open in half. However, if this procedure is performed with water still inside, you will make a disorder. Last but not least, if an individual wishes, they may eat the white meat inside by peeling it with a knife, and therefore it will come right off. The texture of the Maypan coconut is hard and solid.
