War is a very broad term for writing. Under this word, everybody imagine black and white soldier with a gun in a dusty environment. My question is “why?”. Why is the basic question of all. Existence on earth, learning, reading, or why somebody listen one ear in and another ear out? Why do we have war? Why people argue?, fight?. Why do we have quarrels?, rivalry or racing? The answer is simple. Proving power is not really right move. Subjugation is the wrong way of showing the great powers or superpowers. Power should provide love and support, not a battle about who is better. When I asked my younger sister what is the war, she said, "Battles and shooters where people kills and dies." This way you also our ancestors proved and showed their "size".
Dictators, leaders of fascism and nationalism did not just wake up one day and became dictators. These people started manifesting in early childhood. At the school in the form of bullying or vandalism, and if they do not have a steady hand above them, their "abilities" develop even further. Lack of attention or care from parents, despise, not enough friends- all of this bad examples play big role and they are benefits to become person like that. Maybe we should help people like that and not brushed them aside because they are different. They have their reason why they are different.
In my essay I would like to compare two wars, World War II and Iraq war. What are the differences and what are the similarities?
World War II
Starting in 1933 increased the tensions in Europe. The League of Nations failed to reduce tensions, since there was no aggressor.
Aggression of Nazi Germany and fascist Italy has escalated:
In early October 1935 Italy attacked Ethiopia and in March 1936 raised revolution in Spain against the Republican government. With the help of Germany and Italy are fascists in the civil war seized power and set up dictatorship. Italy and Germany while supporting the fascists in Spain got closer and in October 1936 signed a protocol on cooperation and defining spheres of influence. They established cooperation between Berlin-Rome-Tokyo (Japan have joined later).
12.03.1938 The German army began to occupy Austria and Hitler declared the annexation of Austria to Germany (Anschluss) - 1. aggression. Austria did not exist anymore (an Anschluss with Austria,2008).
The annexation of Austria to Germany, Hitler tried what great powers will do. As soon as found out that they are not going to do anything he increased the tension. Everything what he wanted to do, he wrote in his book Mein Kampf. Next aggression was Munich Agreement.
The causes of the war: Hitler wanted revenge for the agreement of Versailles. He wanted to create a Greater German State. Other powers only looked on Hitler and he kept escalate his aggression more and more.
Iraq War
In 2003, the US made a final decision about invasion of Iraq. Based on unconfirmed assumptions about possession of weapons of mass destruction, launched the US-British coalition without mandate, invasion of the Republic of Iraq.
In March 20, 2003 the troops under the command of the US launched attack on Iraq. That is how Operation of Iraqi Freedom began, even despite the opposition of the United Nations, the Arab League and NATO. The attack was directed against the presidential residence in the capital city, Baghdad. Former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has managed to survive the attack. Base Allied troops were in Kuwait and other Gulf States.
In May 1, 2003 were major military operations finished. This was announced by then US president George W. Bush. Managed areas was temporarily entrusted General Jay Garner. Despite fierce resistance of the Iraqi people, especially in cities Um-Qasr, Basra, Najaf, Kut and Karbala were Iraqi army and military destroyed by American military and technological superiority. Saddam Hussein was virtually stripped of power. However he was lucky enough to escape form arrest for a long time. In July 13, 2003 was held the first meeting against the new US Iraqi Governing Council. In July 22, 2003 US troops killed Hussein sons and members of his family. Fighting and violence in the country continued. The situation should calm down arresting the escaping President Hussein. In December 24, 2003 Hussein was captured by US troops after the betrayal of some of his close helpers. Subsequently, the court was prolonged, because they confessed his match of genocide, murder and torture of civilians committed during the Iran-Iraq conflict. Hussein all accusations categorically denied and asserted that court is manipulated by the United States. He was defending himself on court and did not want any advocacy.
In November 5, 2006 was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity and sentenced to death by hanging. The situation in the country is still did not calm down. In Iraq, conflict broke out after the invasion also known as the Civil War.
Hussein vs. Hitler
As of late, the news has gone ahead about how the Iraq War has endured longer then American contribution in World War II. Also, with this comes the announcement that on the grounds that the war has kept going longer then World War II, it’s absolutely impossible the United States can win. Well in the event that they are going to make a few correlations to World War II, then so am I.
To begin with of, the greatest part of hostile to war sentiments are American troop losses. In all actuality, each individual slaughtered or injured is a shocking misfortune, yet here is the point of view. In the three years and eight months in Iraq, there have been more than 3,000 U.S. causalities. Amid the arrivals at Normandy there were 5,000 U.S. losses over a time of 24 hours. In the 37-day fight for Iwo Jima, almost 7,000 marines were killed. In the 76-day battle for Okinawa, about 12,000 U.S. staff was executed (Havranek, 2006).
In those fights, a few organizations endured a setback rate of 75 percent! What's more, what where those fights for? A toehold in Europe, a volcanic island to serve as a crisis arrival spot for more than 2,000 B-29's, and another little island some place in the Pacific. What's more, shouldn't we think about the Iraqis? In the most recent month more than 3,000 have been killed by bombs and shootings (Havranek, 2006). As Americans we frequently overlook that flexibility isn't free, and all things considered to what has been paid by a definitive penance, the installment this time around is little.
Also, what are to think about the Iraqis? Certainly, it’s not the most impressive nation and I don't anticipate going by at any point in the near future, however why should we say that one American life is more prominent then 30 Iraqis. We get agitate around 100 U.S. losses, while not thinking about the 3,000 Iraqis who are being blown separated. Only in light of the fact that this contention has kept going longer then World War II doesn't mean we can't win. Furthermore, just on the grounds that we have endured 3,000+ losses don’t mean we ought to haul out. What it does mean is that we ought to change our strategies, perhaps have a genuine and strict take a seat chat with Iran, yet above all else bolster the troops there. A piece of what makes our troops solid is realizing that they have the backing of the individuals. What's more, with these things this world may be a tad more secure in the impending years.
The Parallelism of Hitler and Hussein In 1935, the World War II started. Alongside it came scorn. The strongest disdain was that of Adolf Hitler towards those of Jewish plummet. He followed an individual's genealogy back to earlier hundreds of years. On the off chance that there was one individual from that individual's group of Jewish drop, they would be stamped as a Jew and put in an inhumane imprisonment. In these death camps, the victimized people were stripped of all their dress and every one of their assets were taken away. They were shaved and given a number for ID. They weren't even regarded as people. They rested in bunks, which were invaded with lice. The Jews were oppressed without bounds degree and numerous lost their lives. Saddam Hussein came into control over Iraq in 1979. Amid his rule, he and his children tormented huge numbers of the regular citizens. They made home features of a large number of the killings they conferred. In one occasion, the Iraqi competitors were tormented and beaten on the off chance that they didn't win an occasion.
Hussein has killed many of his people and brainwashed his military troops. The Foreign Secretary had warned Military Policemen that if they did not take tough action against Saddam Hussein immediately, the results could be disastrous. He drew a parallel between the growing crisis over his weapons of mass destruction and the domination of Adolf Hitler in the 1930s. He went on to say that Saddam Hussein is like Adolf Hitler because he has invaded neighboring countries, gassed his political enemies and tortured his own people. Iraq's Saddam Hussein and the Nazi Adolf Hitler are similar in many ways other than these. A comparison of the two tyrants shows striking similarities, demonstrating why war with Iraq may be inevitable. (MegaEssays.com, 2011)
