Introduction
An executive tends to interact with people from different religions and races. He/she is bound to encounter conflict with colleagues, subordinates, and superiors due to different values, and perhaps, varying meaning for the same values. One of the ways to prepare oneself for possible encounters is to be aware of some of the values held by people from other religions.

* Islam: The religion revealed to Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) through the Quran, Holy Book of Islam. Muslims are obliged to pray Allah (SWT) five times a day according to a very rigorous schedule, at dawn, around noon, in the afternoon, at dusk and at night. These prayers can only be merged in specific cases, such as visiting a foreign country or during a journey exceeding 80 kilometers. Talking about the workplace, an issue could arise regarding the fact that Muslims have to pray and according to what we stated above, there are two compulsory prayers during the work time – at noon and during the afternoon. Malaysia or other countries try hardly to give either some right to majority and minorities or not at all. We have been hearing, mostly in the West, that Islam creates problems in the workplace since they want to pray but we truly believe that it goes back to the company policy to allow or not their employees to perform any act of faith at the

I would like to examine Immanuel Kant and Ayn Rand’s moral systems for my essay. At first glance, you could say that these two thinkers seem diametrically opposed, but they actually share some similar views. I’ll start by reviewing some of the details of Immanuel Kant’s moral system. You could say that Kant’s views on morality are just an extreme form of altruism. Kant believed in duty ethics, or the act of judging the morality of an action within the context of a system of laws. He believed that humans alone possessed goodwill, a word which he defined as, “the ability to act in accordance with moral laws regardless of interests or consequences”. Morality is therefore derived through feelings from that metaphysical dimension of reality. ...The following essay will briefly explain the theories of Virtue, Utilitarianism, and Deontological Ethics. This essay will further describe how each theory addresses ethics and morality. Lastly, it will provide a brief personal experience explaining the relationship among virtue, values, and moral concepts as related to virtue ethics. Virtue Ethics Virtue Ethics postulates that virtue can be attained by self-discipline and practiced behaviors. By continually striving for virtue in everything one does, one can learn to be good, thus becoming good, and lastly be viewed as good by others.
