My proposal is to have a program for the prevention of teen pregnancy that targets use and parents on how to talk to their children about sex, pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease. This program would be a national program built on the idea that all vulnerable youths will have a knowledgeable to help them make responsible decisions about sexual behavior and stress the importance of parents and Jean communication (Teenagepregancy, 1995). There is also a need for public awareness of what teen pregnancy can cost the community and state. (gcu, library, 1995). Youths that are socioeconomically disadvantage of any race or ethnicity have the highest rate of teen pregnancies and childbirth. In public health teen pregnancy prevention is one of the top priorities of the Center for Disease Control. Program goals are to reduce the rate of pregnancies and birth to the youths, increase you access to evidence-based evidence form programs to prevent teen pregnancy, increase knowledge of links between teen pregnancy prevention programs in community-based clinical services, and to educate communities parents about the relevance of evidence-based evidence informed strategies to reduce teen pregnancy and provide data on the resource. The target areas will be focused on reaching African American and Latino/Hispanic youths aged 15 to 19 years. There will be a communitywide approach to the specified communities, this will include broad-based strategies that will reach a majority of youth in the community, communication strategies and campaigns in the media; and intensive strategies to reach you are most in need of prevention programs, such as evidence-based programs and improved links to these services.
