Its kind insulting to see the names of these figures both on the same page since my opinion on Sara Palin it so minute. But we can compare and contrast on the topics of sexism in the media & gender presentation of these two females. Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton both experience sexism in the media in different ways.
Both are being persecuted in different way, Palin even though she is a politician is being treated as a
" flower" - beautiful and delicate w/o acting as a true politician with a mind. Hillary is being persecuted for being a true politician, speaking her mind, and for looking tougher- qualities that a woman shouldn't have. But both of these politician are being treated as women as opposed to politicians. Palin is not being allowed to speak her mind. On the contrary, Hillary was being mocked for her wardrobe and appearances . They claimed that because she is being a true politician with this tough look she would be like a "nagging wife ." In both situations when women are mentioned , their physical appearance and clothing are commented. Also, they are being portrayed negatively. Women should be looked as with a mind not be judge for the profession especially if this profession has been ruled by men for centuries. The media has awaken me to the reality that sexism exist to such a degree.
Even though I am not into politics, I must confess that I commend any woman including Palin to have the courage to face these scrupulous individual and to illustrate that they are simply individuals engaging in politics and not females who are trying to rob the men of their jobs. Each of these female politicians dressed, looked and acted very differently. Palin dressed very feminine, looked very feminine and acted very feminine. She mentioned her family 's unity and love. She used her gender emphasizing on her motherhood

...Poetry of Love Love is a very popular topic of poetry throughout many cultures and time. Love poetry can be very similar but also very different in many ways as I will illustrate in this paper. I will be comparing and contrasting Ibn Faraj’s “Chastity” with Garcilaso De La Vega’s “While There is Still the Color of a Rose.” I plan on illustrating how love is not a concept that is universally agreed upon throughout time and cultures. In these two poems, the idea of love is not exactly the same because of cultural differences that influenced the authors’ perspective of love. In order to understand how these cultural differences affected the poets, I must first compare and contrast the poems to illustrate the similarities and differences. Ibn Faraj takes on the persona of a man who is in a tempting situation with a woman from which he must refrain in “Chastity.” It is easy to interpret the persona as being a religious man from clues in the poem. For example, his reference to temptation as being Satan’s offer is a huge clue. Furthermore, the object of the speaker’s love seems to be a god. Although he is tempted by this beautiful woman, his love of God keeps him chaste. On the other hand, Garcilaso does not take on a persona in “While There is Still the Color of a Rose.” The speaker in the poem seems to be the poet himself giving advice to a young lady. At the core of Vygotsky's theory, called the Sociocultural Theory, is the idea that child development is the result of the interactions between children and their social environment. They also involve relationships with significant objects, such as books or toys, and culturally specific practices that children engage in the classroom, at home, and on the playground. Vygotsky opposed the psychologists who believed that children's development occurs spontaneously and cannot be affected by education. He also differed with those who claimed that teaching had the power to alter development at any time regardless of the child's age or capacities.
