In Ron Chernow’s, Alexander Hamilton, Chernow tries to paint an image of what he calls “America’s most controversial Founding Father” (Chernow, 16). His work provides the reader with a broad view of early American political climate and culture, while emphasizing Hamilton’s accomplishments and relations with other Founding Fathers.
