Conventional wisdom says that hard work and determination will lead you down the road to success.

I believe that not only hard work and determination will lead you down to the road of success but ability and motivation,ancestry and most important of all Time combined can help and you make it even easier to be successful.

The reason I say this is because one part in the book Outliers also agrees with what I say “I think overall it's a disadvantage”, Jeb bush once said of what it meant for his business career that he was the son of an American president and the brother of an American president and the grandson of a wealthy Wall Street banker and US senator.” (Page 18 paragraph 3) Jeb Bush wouldn't be well known if it wasn't for his dad and his brother both being Presidents meaning that he couldn't have run for governor of Florida so having ancestors being known get help you be known and leading to opportunities and then when the people use those opportunities they can easily put in lots of hours of practice leading to mastery that leading to success.
