On April 12, 2004, Corrina Obernesser, a running, smiling, and insane girl was born. My parents thought I would be a normal child but little did they know, I was about as diverse and different as it gets. In my early years I was creative and always active. I constantly was outside playing with my two older sisters, Maddie and Shyanne. I grew up in a three bedroom four bathroom house in a medium sized town twenty minutes from Denver. As I grew up in my stucco brown home I was always influenced to do my best and always be as active as possible. I was into many sports like baseball, soccer, track, cross country, and gymnastics. My little legs were always working. My father ,Matt, was a physical education teacher and my mother, Diane…show more content… I had an active mind. I was always up to something like a craft, playing with my friend, or playing with my favorite toy car at Bright Horizons... the hot pink mini van. Every day at snack time I was thinking about my strategy today in order to beat the other girls to that hot pink mini van. Each goldfish cracker I stuffed in my mouth I was contemplating life because of that hot pink mini van. It was April 12th 2007, my third birthday. We had so many laughs and giggles together throughout first grade. My first grade teacher was also very amazing. Her name was Mrs. Jones and she was just like a mother to me. We were so close. Every day when the students would walk through the door, she was just so happy and positive. First grade was a great year for me. Second grade was not very eventful for me, but third grade was amazing. I met one of the most amazing friends I’ve ever had in third grade, Lander Wilkinson. We were united because of our same date of birth. My teacher was taking birthdays and putting them on a calendar. She called out “April 12th” and we both raised our hands. She immediately looked at me and we had an instant connection. We just went from there to become very best friends. We were always together. If you saw Lander you’d think Corrina is nearby and if you saw Corrina you’d think Lander is nearby. We were truly an amazing
