Long ago lived Cosimia, a young girl from the Sand Creek Tribe. Cosimia was said to be that of the universe. The Sand Creek Tribe worshipped her. It was like she had the upmost control. But of course, Cosimia's father, Crow Belly, was chief of the tribe and did not feel the same as the rest of their people. Cosimia's mother, Anika, had passed only a week after Cosimia's birth. Anika wanted nothing more than for Cosimia to be aside a noble chief when she grew up. She wanted Cosimia to have everything. Crow Belly did not want his daughter to even show her face. He blamed Cosimia for her mother's death and he has never felt the same after her passing.

Each and every night Cosimia ran away from the tribe to a creek. She sat on a tree that barely hung over the creek. It was, as Cosimia called it, her hideaway. She sat upon the tree praying to the brilliant stars. She believed there was a sky god. One that looked down on her and gave her anything she requested. Cosimia prayed of forgiveness from her father.
