Create a problem where you invest money in two different accounts having different simple interest for a one year payout. Use the basic equation Interest=principal times the rate.

You have two accounts in a bank. The first account has a 5% interest rate per year . The second account has a 10 % interest rate per year. You deposit 2000.00 in each account in a year’s time. How much interest would you earn on each account.
Step 1: Read the problem and gather all important information.
Account 1 principle is 2000.00 in a year, it earns 5% interest per year.
Account 2 principle is 2000.00 in a year, it earns 5% interest per year.
Step 2: Make a sketch and/or place information in a table. Interest earned in 1 year | Account 1 principalPer year | Account 2 PrincipalPer year | Rate of interest | percent | dollars | dollars | percent | y | 2000.00 | 2000.00 | z |

Step 3: Perform Mathematical Calculations.
Account 1 : interest=principle*rate
Interest = y
Principle = x
Rate = z
Equation : y=x*z
Y= 2000(.05)
Y= 100.00
Account 2 : interest=principle*rate
Interest = y
Principle = x
Rate = z
Equation : y=x*z
Y= 2000(.10)
Y= 200.00
Step 4: Check Answers
Account 1
Y=x(z)
100= 2000(5%=.05)
100=100
Account 2
Y=x(z)
200= 2000(10%=.10)
200=200

Step 5: Answer the question:
If the principal in each account is 2000.00 in a year , How much interest would be earned?
The 1st account would earn 100.00 dollars a year in interest and account 2 would earn 200.00 a year in interest .

If you take your problem and say you wanted to earn 337.00 in one year using simple interest for your two accounts, how much would you need to invest in each account to earn this interest? Please setup this problem using the 5 step approach and find the principles needed to be invested in each account to earn the 337 in one year.

Tractor Poem Analysis

...the tractor. However, while reading it further, this poem seems to be telling us that with determination, man can overcome many problems no matter how tough the problem is, using nature as a form of trouble to humans. Moreover, it also tells us that the journey to solving the problem is difficult. This poem is in nine stanzas, where the first four stanzas describe the process of starting up the tractor while the last five stanzas, describe how the tractor finally starts up and rejoices. The poet personifies the tractor and uses contrast to bring about its theme in the poem. Firstly, the narrative point of view poet uses a first person narrative viewpoint, which creates an impression of irritation and anger that the poet has towards the tractor. This helps us to understand the emotions of the persona towards the tractor. Firstly, he uses “I stare at it in hatred”. The emotion ‘hatred’ is a passionate feeling of anger, and the ‘stare’ tells us that it is extremely irritated by the reluctance of the tractor start as it ‘defied’ the narrator. This phrase tells us that the persona is facing a lot of difficulty, causing him to feel hatred towards the tractor. Additionally, the poet uses “I squirt commercial sure-fire down the black throat”. This phrase has the fuel chute, which connects fuel to the oil tank, personified to be a throat, which creates an impression that the tractor is similar to a human in the sense that it has a throat for ‘food’, that is in comparison to fuel...

Short Essay 1 Bailey, Jesse

...Essay on Topic [e.g., Hamartiology: The Problem of Evil (Theodicy)] [Write your essay here, which must contain 600–800 words for the first 3 Short Essays.] Word count: [Post the word count of just your actual essay, not including title.] The problem of evil is perceived to be portrayed by the following propositions: 1, God is omnipotent; 2, God is wholly benevolent; 3, evil consequences that result from the actions and events befall mankind; 4, the omnipotent being of 1 and 2 eliminates all the evil that he can; 5, there are no nonlogical limits to what an omnipotent being can do; 6, so God will therefore eliminate every evil that is logically possible for him to remove (Elwell, pg. 413). The prepositions 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 would mean that 3 is negated making the six points self-contradictory. In the Evangelical Dictionary of Theology, we find two types of evil; the bad (or moral evil) and the harmful (natural evil). These two evils are distinct from eachother but, you cannot seperate them. Natural evil is the consequence of moral evil. Moral evil is when man breaks God's law and natural evil is a result of mankind's sinful nature. Adam brought on God's curse on mankind and the world when he willfuly disobeyed God. With this disobedience, man invited sin and corruption into God's perfect creation. A theodicy is a defensive position on the goodness and omnipotence of God in view of the existence of evil. Many such theodicies exist with scientists, philosophers, and...

There are many students that have studied English for many years start from elementary school until Senior High School, but they are unable to speak like native speakers because of their inability to pronounce the sounds of words properly. Sometimes there are some students who able to speak fluently because they knew many vocabulary to speak and also have a high confidence, but they cannot pronounce the words properly. This problem also happens in Islamic Senior High School 1 Serang. Based on my interview with Atang Santosa, an English teacher there, I found that there are many students who have problem with their pronunciation in speaking especially in the first grade. Some students in Islamic Senior High School 1 Serang (MAN 1 Serang) have problem with vowels and consonants. This problem may be caused by their habit in speak Bahasa. They have difficulty in pronouncing words because English pronunciation is based on sounds, not spelling like Bahasa, so it makes them difficult to know how to pronounce the words by its spelling.
