At times, a team could be developed when rearranging furniture in a office or developing a new software for a company. Teams are critical in today’s business markets because of the work load on each employee. Therefore, a team is created to minimize the work load and engage the team’s brain storming techniques. Teams are developed for temporary use in order to complete a project. For example, a team manager will evaluate the project, study the task and establish a group of skillful individuals. Each member of the team will be designated to operate a particular task. As a result, the task will be completed by each member’s professional skill. However, a team can have its negatives as well. For instance, not every member will agree on the way the operation is completed. So, in order for a team to work successfully every member must agree and participate in the task-at-hand. The creation of Islam came about from the prophet Muhammad brought unity, power, and cultural and economic growth. Islam means submission to God, otherwise known as Allah to the Islamic people. Islam gave Arabians a form of monotheism, which shared Christian and Jewish scripture and adapted the traditions of those religions to Muslim needs. The Arabian Peninsula is mostly desert dotted with oases where cities were established surrounding them and the coastal areas of the peninsula. Much of the remaining peninsula comprises of camel nomads that are organized in tribes and clans. The Bedouin culture was similar to that of other nomads; they were herders that lived in clan groups living mobile lifestyles. “The Bedouin’s also believed that all members of a tribe were descended from a common ancestor.” (McKay et al, 2007.) This was in direct conflict with Islamic beliefs. Clans were clustered into larger tribal groupings that came together usually only in times of crisis or war. Fall has always been my favorite season of the year. I love seeing the color changing leaves across the bright blue sky and the mixture of bright orange, yellow and brown scattered on the dark pavement. This sparked an idea in my head. I wanted to express the colors of autumn in my painting without having to paint actual leaves. I also wanted to express the random scattering of leaves against the dark wet pavement. I wanted to express fall the way I see fall in my imagination; dark and gloomy yet warm and bright all at the same time. In order to express my vision, I needed to think of what materials I needed to put it all together. I went to a local store and bought a 20 x 24 canvas, some fan brush and the acrylic paint necessary to express the fall colors I see in my imagination.
