Advancements in technology are changing the way companies preform tasks. Each day new ways of completing tasks are created and we are seeing major shifts in how business is generated. Workers are continuously changing their daily lives due to the trends that rapidly occur in today’s workforce. Workers are able to preform tasks from practically anywhere in the world or on the road through the vast amount of electronic devices making it possible to communicate through the Internet and cellular signals. Managers are forced to adopt new techniques making it possible to utilize these long distance communication advancements. With the vast amount of “spam” emails flooding workers inboxes, they must be careful on how to compose emails. Workers must be clear and careful when creating an email. Employees at all levels must be extra careful and professional with composing emails, and also whom the email is shared with. There has recently been a large amount of websites created for those hunting for jobs. This means that companies have the ability to search through thousands of resumes quickly and efficiently. This means that companies are adopting the “best person for the job” approach when hiring. Regardless of employee location, they are still a viable option when a company is looking for job candidates. Traditional training and meeting rooms are slowly declining, but “cloud” based collaboration tools are quickly being invested in, which allow employees to meet anywhere electronically.
