Participant 1 (PAR1, AFSAS Person 1) slipped while walking down stairs fracturing his left ankle resulting in days 20 con leave.
4.2. Sequences of Events:
PAR1 went upstairs in his residence to retrieve a large laundry basket full of dirty clothes. PAR1 descended down the stairwell carrying the basket, which obstructed his view. Halfway down the stairs, PAR1 missed a step, which caused him to lose his balance and roll his ankle inward. PAR1 dropped the basket and grabbed the handrail to prevent himself from falling down the stairs. PAR1 drove himself to the on base medical facility where he was diagnosed with a fractured left ankle and subsequently placed on 20 days of convalescent leave. 4.3. Investigation
