For example Dumby didn't win the trophy and was especially racist to him and how their was favouritism towards Coach Arks son from the committee of the club and the coach who was Arks. One of the clear events that happen throughout this book is how Darcy is very disrespectful to Clarence and the Nungas by using a term that said more directly to Blacky for Clarance “ You be careful of these jins now, lad. Nice girls, But they’ve all got the clap. Every last one of them. Pg 24 Philip Gwynne Deadly Unna” This is a very racial term for saying they are carrying with some sort of disease which is a lie he was just being racist to Clarence and this should not be tolerated this isn't the only bad joke or saying that has been mentioned throughout the book. At the pub one of the Locals especially waits until Dumby Reds dad has left the area to tell a racist joke Blacky normally laughs at it but he didnt when it was told because he is friends with Dumby red.
