Market segmentation the process of splitting a market into smaller groups with similar product needs or identifiable characteristics, for the purpose of selecting appropriate target markets. Foxconn defines themselves as a service company rather than a manufacturing concern. As can be seen that, Foxconn is one of the world's largest manufacturer of electronic components and computer, so they provides products depends on the contract with other companies, which demand to be provided products with a cheaper and reasonable prices than other manufacturers. Foxconn devote to customer's long term success and pride in their hardworking culture.
Targeting
It is an organization’s proactive selection of a suitable market segment (or segments) with the intention of heavily focusing the firm’s marketing offers and activities towards this group of related consumers.. Target market is a process of evaluating each market segments to enter. According to the Segmenting, Foxconn customers are often the electronics companies, computers companies, which demand to be provided electronic components, computers main-boards, LCD monitors, phones components and other products.
Position
Positioning is the target market’s perception of the product’s key benefits and features, relative to the offerings of competitive products. Therefore, Foxconn wants to through the most efficient "Total Cost Advantages" to make comfort of electronic products usage an attainable reality for all mankind.
