Total quality is an important topic at any company or industry. Companies want to have the best quality in their industry so that they can be seen as one of the best in the business. Therefore, they will in most cases focus on total quality in several aspects of the company. Some areas that companies try to focus on quality are in the products, services, and human resources. Therefore, companies will have a process that just focuses on management; this is known as quality management. The theory of quality Management has became known as an important business method that every individual and or company wants to accept in order to better provide a service or a product to his or her customers. By having quality management in place in any company, they can make sure that they offer top quality for products and services. There are several quality management programs that are accessible to industrialists. For example, one may want to use a program such as six-sigma theory of Constraints, or even Total Quality Management. The Total Quality management of every organization is to continue the same process to create a high quality, high effective outcome of service that match and passes the customer anticipation. They can also use this to help improve the quality for the organization. The theory of quality management can be seen in several companies, two such companies are the Southwest airlines and the American airlines. The Southwest airlines are a company that works at a domestic level and the American airlines works more on a global level. Southwest Airlines is the world’s largest airlines serving about 250 cities nationwide. Even though the airline seems to be a cost effective company, its stock prices have been reduced by 13% in the last few years.
