Nature of Customers Demand
1. Factors that influence the changes in demand that Drive Smart experiences are seasonal changes, weather changes if it is hot or warm people walk more often then they would in the snow, events (weddings, golf tournaments), holidays, (Christmas, new years, long weekends).
2. Drive Smart manages the supplying of their service by trying to staff appropriately for each occasion. (Since they are new they will know next year better if a weekend- Recommendation- keeping track of sales and weather to better know for the years to come).
3. For changes in increase in demand Drive Smart would hire more drivers.
4. Drive Smart has not been in business for more then a year
5. They have not made changes yet they opened in the spring, it’s still in the first stages of development
Promotion:
· Drive Smart uses Facebook. Google ad words, yelp, signage in restaurants and bars for their advertising. Their strategy is to dominate the web. Most of their advertising dollars are spent on internet advertising.
· They use $5.00 off promotional cards. Also looking at a Groupon promotion.
